UFC 267 Odds: Jan Blachowicz Vs. Glover Teixeira For Light Heavyweight Title
Jan Blachowicz and Glover Teixeira both know the meaning of “live dog” as they headline UFC 267 odds Saturday from Fight Island in the United Arab Emirates.
Despite being to retain his UFC Light Heavyweight Championship, Blachowicz was +230 the night he captured the crown against Dominick Reyes last year.
No. 1 contender Teixeira has been ranging right there too, currently for this bout. Teixeira also has a recent victory over Thiago Santos, the last fighter to defeat Blachowicz.
The card is loaded with opportunities, but viewers and bettors need to be aware of different start times because of where this fight originates overseas.

UFC 267 Odds: Main Event Methods Of Victory
Teixeira backers will slam the moneyline and seek props for dessert. Three of his last five victories have come by submission. That could be one betting direction.
Most Blachowicz bettors need to pinpoint an accurate prop, given the unattractive moneyline.
Johnny Avello, the director of race and sportsbook operations for DraftKings, told TheLines that -300 is about the highest price most chalk bettors will go, give or take, before deeming a chalk unplayable. There are exceptions of course, and some deep-pocketed bettors will lay heavy juice with a big bankroll, but most gamblers seek other options at that price.
At FanDuel, method and round combos are lucrative, yet tough to nail.
Another area, the double chance prop, provides reasonable odds. This allows for two outcomes at a lower rate of return, betting on an individual fighter.
Odds that the fight will end inside the distance sit around -155. If the bout ends in a decision, this pays +195. A submission by either fighter returns +480.
UFC Light Heavyweight Title Preview
Blachowicz makes the second defense of his title he captured as a +230 underdog against Dominick Reyes in 2020. He dropped Reyes with a crunching short straight left and the referee stopped it as Blachowicz prepared to follow up, unopposed. Blachowicz made a successful defense, outpointing Israel Adesanya in March. Bettors will look at the common opponent angle closely. Blachowicz has won five straight since a TKO loss to Santos in 2019. In Teixeira’s last fight, he scored a two-round submission victory over Santos. Stopping the fighter who had beaten Blachowicz should give Teixeira an emotional edge. Does that translate into victory? By some analytical standards, that would make him the favorite here. But the bettors are signaling that the transitive property does not apply here. Just because Teixeira defeated Santos, whom had beaten Blachowicz, doesn’t mean he’ll win here. Or does it?- Age of Fighters: Blachowicz 38, Teixeira 41.
- Methods Of Past Victories: Blachowicz well-rounded, Teixeira 57% KO/TKO
- Fun Fact: Blachowicz is the second Polish champion in UFC history, after Joanna Jędrzejczyk, and the first male Polish champion.
