Stephen Andress, Managing Editor
Stephen Andress has served as the Managing Editor for TheLines.com since March 2021. He began his career as a sports anchor and reporter in Eugene, Oregon, before moving to Louisville, KY. He covered the Kentucky Derby, Sugar Bowl, and three consecutive Final Fours there. Stephen later won an Emmy while working for the Indianapolis Colts. More recently, he produced content for the PGA TOUR and multiple fantasy football and sports betting websites. Nothing has excited him more in his career than seeing legalized sports betting in the United States and the opportunity to share his knowledge and enthusiasm for it.

Eli Hershkovich, Lead Sports Betting Writer
Eli Hershkovich is a lead sports betting writer for TheLines.com. He’s been gambling for over a decade. He aims to provide readers with data and market insight to help lead to winning bets. Eli specializes in college basketball, NFL, MLB, and the sports gambling landscape, but is most well-known for his futures bets on the hardwood. Regardless of his success wagering on college hoops, he still hasn’t forgiven Virginia (and the refs) for ruining his 100-1 Texas Tech futures bet in the 2019 NCAA Tournament.

Mo Nuwwarah, Lead Writer
Mo Nuwwarah got his start in gambling early, making his first sports bet on his beloved Fab Five against the UNC Tar Heels in the 1993 NCAA tournament. He lost $5 to his dad and returned to sports betting years later during a 15-year run in the poker industry. A 2011 journalism graduate from Nebraska-Omaha, he combines those skills with his love of sports and statistics to help bettors make more informed decisions with a focus on pro football, baseball, and basketball.

Matt Burke is a sports betting industry expert and the Managing Editor of Evergreen Content at TheLines.com. He is the Founder and former Editor-in-Chief of MetroBet, a digital and print sports betting platform, and was the Executive Sports Editor at Metro US Newspapers (New York, Philadelphia, Boston) from 2014-2020. Matt has covered Super Bowls and Final Fours, and his work has appeared for Sports Illustrated, CBS Sports, The Eagle Tribune, Gloucester Daily Times and Newburyport Daily News. Matt is a graduate of the University of Connecticut.
Bill Gelman, Lead Evergreen Writer
Bill Gelman is a lead writer with TheLines and Catena Media. He has previously covered sports betting and online casino news for PlayNJ and PlayPennsylvnia, among other Catena Media sites. Bill is no stranger to the Atlantic City sports betting scene, especially during Super Bowl and March Madness betting seasons. He appears regularly on the WhyEaglesWhy YouTube podcast where everything and anything Eagles is fair game. Before joining Catena Media in 2019, Bill covered the first and only Super Bowl Parade in Philadelphia Eagles history. He would’ve been there again in 2023 if his Birds hadn’t blown a 10-point lead.
