• Markets: Overall the betting markets that Wynn Sportsbook offers are good, although the futures markets are nonexistent at the moment. We’re assuming that will change, but it still is a little disappointing not to have them up and running at this time. Other than that, all the top sports you would expect to find are there, minus one, NASCAR. Currently Wynn does not have odds on any auto racing events.
• Live betting: When it comes to actually placing bets during games, the Wynn Sportsbook app works fine, but unless you’re watching the game or following it online elsewhere, it’s not always easy to know exactly what is happening during a given event. For example, during a baseball game you can see the score, but it doesn’t list the inning, which team is at bat or the situation in the game at that time. All extremely important things to know for whatever bet you are about to make.
• Bet slip: We do like how the bet slip works on the Wynn app. It pops up in the corner, out of the way, and can be moved so that it’s easy to place more bets. What’s not available at Wynn

Auto racing and fringe sports. The fact is if you want to gamble on NASCAR or niche sports like table tennis, cricket, rugby or darts, you will not be able to do that at Wynn Sportsbook.

Wynn has all the major sports that you would find at any reputable odds maker (basketball, football, baseball, hockey, tennis, MMA and soccer), but the lack of any motor sports is a little strange. However, if NASCAR and the IndyCar Series are not your cup of tea, then you won’t be missing anything going with Wynn.

It also is important to note that depending on where you are betting from, you will not be able to wager on certain college teams. For example, in states like New Jersey, Colorado, and Virginia, betting on college teams from those states is not allowed. And in Jersey it even is illegal to bet on any college events taking place in the state, whether local teams are playing or not.

WynnBET odds boost

Wynn does not currently offer odds boosts; whether that changes going forward is anyone’s guess. It’s also our opinion that if a sportsbook offers good, competitive odds, it doesn’t need odds boosts in order to gain or keep customers.

We looked at Week 3 of the 2020 NFL season and compared Wynn to DraftKings, BetMGM and FanDuel sportsbooks.

While the spreads for the 16 games were nearly identical across the board at the four sportsbooks, the moneylines were not as close. While none of them were dramatically different, the fact is that Wynn had the best odds only three times, while the other three books had the best or tied for the best odds at least five times each.

That’s not to say you’re not getting good odds at Wynn. Overall, Wynn Sportsbook was competitive against DraftKings, FanDuel and BetMGM and even beat all three out at times.

But, as it stands right now, we don’t think you’re getting the absolute best odds out there. If you’re just a casual or even medium bettor, the difference might not even be noticeable, but if you’re betting large sums of money, that small difference in the line will make a big difference in the end.
