WNBA Championship Betting Odds
As you’ll see below, the Aces and Liberty are co-favorites to win the 2023 title at Caesars Sportsbook (+120). Both FanDuel and BetMGM have the teams separated in the market by 10 cents. Las Vegas is coming off a championship in 2022, knocking off the third-seeded Connecticut Sun in four games.
Aces coach Becky Hammond, who’s recently been connected to the NBA sidelines after spending time as an assistant with the Spurs, will see the entire core of her roster return. That includes A’ja Wilson — the league’s 2022 MVP and Defensive Player of the Year — as well as All-Stars Kelsey Plum, Dearica Hamby, Jackie Young, and WNBA Finals MVP Chelsea Gray.
Although Wilson didn’t tally her highest scoring average last season, she was ultra-efficient inside the arc while even adding a perimeter jumper. The South Carolina product delivered a career-best 53.1 eFG% overall.
So why does New York possess similar — if not identical — title odds? Well, Sandy Brondello’s team manufactured a marvelous offseason, trading for Jonquel Jones and signing Breanna Stewart and Courtney Vandersloot in free agency. Couple that with the presence of Betnijah Laney, who was hampered by a knee injury in 2022. The Liberty are certainly positioned to contend.
Here are the rest of the 2023 WNBA championship odds from the trio of aforementioned sportsbooks.

WNBA MVP Betting Odds
Unsurprisingly, the Aces’ Wilson is near the top of the odds board at +300. The Liberty’s Stewart owns the shortest odds (+280), though. Mind you, the two-time WNBA champion won the honor in 2018. Both players were parked at the front of this market last season, too.
Before joining the Liberty in the offseason, Stewart accomplished all of her career accolades with the Seattle Storm, which include the Finals MVP during both of their title-winning campaigns.
Below is the full schedule for the 2023 WNBA season. In regards to when your MVP bet would theoretically cash at a given sportsbook operator, the award is handed out in early September.
- May 19: Regular Season Underway
- July 13-17: WNBA All-Star Break
- July 15: AT&T WNBA All-Star Game
- Aug. 7: Trade Deadline, 8 p.m. EST
