World Cup Predictions Today: Three Lions to Ease into Round of 16
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is heating up, with knockout games raining down in North America. We have more mouth-watering Round-of-32 matches to look forward to today.
England get their tournament back underway with a meeting with DR Congo, while Belgium face Senegal. All eyes will be on the day’s third game as co-hosts United States lock horns with Bosnia & Herzegovina.
England vs DR Congo: FIFA World Cup Best Bets Today
Without being at their brilliant best, England are safely through to the Round of 32. They picked up seven points in Group L after wins against Croatia and Panama and a draw with Ghana.
Congo secured their place in the knockouts as one of the best third-place teams. In a tough group with Portugal and Colombia, the Congolese picked up four points, beating Uzbekistan on the final day.
Going by the World Cup odds market, England have always been the mix as potential winners. The English reached the semi-finals eight years ago but have not won the World Cup since 1966.
Ghana were tricky customers for the English in the group, and Congo could have a similar style. That said, England’s qualities should shine through in this last-32 tie.
England have been drawing at the break in each of their opening three World Cup games, but we fancy Thomas Tuchel’s men to win both halves of this one (9/5).
Our Prediction: England to Win Both Halves – 9/5
Belgium vs Senegal: World Cup Best Bets
The second Round-of-32 match being played today is the intriguing meeting in Seattle between Belgium and Senegal. The winners could be facing USA at Lumen Field in the last 16.
Belgium have quietly gone about their business in the World Cup, and Rudi Garcia’s men could be the ones to watch in the knockouts. Looking at the latest Belgium World Cup odds, the Red Devils are currently available at 45/1 to lift the trophy.
Belgium finished on five points in Group G but pipped Egypt to first place. They drew with the Egyptians and Iran in the opening two before securing a vital victory over New Zealand in their final group game.
Senegal scraped into the last 32 as one of the best third-place sides, despite picking up just three points in the group stage. They kicked off their tournament with defeats to France and Norway, but the 5-0 victory over Iraq in game three put them through.
Unfortunately for the Senegalese, we can see their World Cup journey ending today in Seattle. PricedUp are offering 9/4 for Garcia’s men to be winning at half time and full time at Lumen Field.
Our Prediction: Belgium HT/FT – 9/4
United States vs Bosnia & Herzegovina: World Cup Predictions Today
United States are back in action at Levi’s Stadium today, as Mauricio Pochettino’s Stars and Stripes entertain Bosnia & Herzegovina. Can the States use the home crowd to their advantage and book their spot in the last 16?
USA picked up six points from their opening two to make sure of a knockout berth with one group game spare. They hammered Paraguay 4-1 before sealing a 2-0 victory over Australia.
Bosnia progressed as one of the best third-place nations after collecting four points from three Group B fixtures. The Europeans drew with co-hosts Canada before a heavy loss to Switzerland. However, a 3-1 win against Qatar in their final group game secured their passage.
Bosnia are a tough nut to crack under Sergej Barbarez, but USA should make home advantage count in California. There is excellent value in 11/10 for the co-hosts to win -1.
Our Prediction: United States to Win -1 – 11/10
