World Cup Accumulator Tips Today: French to Ease into Last 16
The 2026 FIFA World Cup has reached the knockout phase, with huge fixtures taking place every day.
On the grandest stage today, Ivory Coast face Norway, France and Sweden lock horns, and co-hosts Mexico square off against Ecuador. Check out our World Cup accumulator tips and predictions for today’s Round-of-32 action.
Ivory Coast vs Norway: Norwegians to Seal Last-16 Spot?
Ivory Coast and Norway do battle in a fascinating last-32 fixture at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Who will book their spot in the Round of 16?
Ivory Coast secured their place in the knockout phase by taking six points from three games in Group E. The Africans beat Ecuador and Curacao but lost to Germany.
Norway also went through on six points. In the pre-World Cup Group I odds market, France were the favourites to finish top, and Didier Deschamps’ men won the group with maximum points. Still, the Norwegians beat Iraq and Senegal to go through with one group game spare.
With the likes of Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard returning to the team, Norway will fancy their chances of sealing a last-16 spot in North America.
Ivory Coast are no pushovers, so the Norway win and both teams to score – 3/1 with PricedUp – is well worth taking a look at.
Our Prediction: Norway to Win & Both Teams to score – 3/1
France vs Sweden: French Too Hot for Sweden to Handle
France and Sweden go head-to-head in an all-European Round-of-32 World Cup matchup. The game will be held at the spectacular MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford.
Going by the World Cup odds, France have been the favourites ever since they booked their place in the tournament. Deschamps’ boys were flawless in the group stage, easing past Senegal, Iraq, and Norway to win Group I with nine points from a possible nine.
The Swedes secured their knockout berth as one of the best third-place teams. Graham Potter’s troops have had a mixed time in the 2026 World Cup so far, scoring seven and conceding seven.
Sweden thumped Tunisia 5-1 but were then battered by the same scoreline by Netherlands on matchday two. Nonetheless, a 1-1 draw with Japan in the final group game put them on four points.
The Swedes have looked excellent in attack but vulnerable at the back, and we can see this quality French team breaching the defence at will. Unfortunately, Sweden’s time in North America could come to an end, and we like the look of 7/5 for Les Bleus to win -2 in New Jersey.
Our Prediction: France to Win -2 – 7/5
Mexico vs Ecuador: Co-Hosts to Squeeze Through
Mexico are back in action in front of their home fans when they take on Ecuador at Estadio Azteca later today. Roared on by 80,000, the Mexicans will fancy their chances of booking their place in the Round of 16.
Mexico have enjoyed the World Cup up to now, picking up maximum points in the group stage and looking very strong on home soil. They got the tournament underway with a 2-0 victory over South Africa before beating South Korea and Czech Republic without conceding.
Ecuador reached the knockouts in dramatic fashion, coming from behind to beat Germany 2-1 in their final group match. Nilson Angulo levelled before Gonzalo Plata hit the late winner. Sebastian Beccacece’s boys had taken one point from their first two games and looked to be heading out.
The Ecuadorians might not be an easy nut to crack, but the co-hosts should get the job done in Mexico City. There is excellent value in PricedUp’s 9/2 for Mexico to win 2-1.
Our Prediction: Mexico to Win 2-1 – 9/1
