Norway and England square off today in the quarter-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This intriguing all-European knockout game will take place at the picturesque Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

The Three Lions may be the favourites, but the Norwegians will be formidable opponents for Thomas Tuchel’s men. In this World Cup betting preview, we have the best Norway vs England odds, tips, and picks.

Norway vs England Picks & Preview

Norway are making their first World Cup appearance since reaching the Round of 16 of the 1998 World Cup in France. They have enjoyed their time in North America and have been one of the tournament's surprise packages.

Norway booked their place in the knockout stage with one group game spare. Stale Solbakken’s side hammered Iraq on matchday one, with Erling Haaland grabbing a brace in a 4-1 triumph. The Manchester City superstar scored twice again, as Norway beat Senegal 3-2 to go through.

After losing to France in game three, Norway finished second in Group I, setting up a last-32 tie against Ivory Coast, who finished runners-up to Germany in Group E. Goals from Antonio Nusa and Haaland gave them a 2-1 win in Arlington to reach the Round of 16.

Haaland kept up his incredible scoring record in the last-16 game against Brazil, scoring two late goals to give the Vikings a famous 2-1 victory over the record winners. This is the furthest they have gone in any major tournament.

Going by the England World Cup odds before and during the tournament, many punters are backing the Three Lions to win the competition for the first time since 1966. The English are in their third consecutive World Cup quarter-final.

England booked their spot in the knockouts with relative ease, collecting seven points from a possible nine to win Group L. They kicked off their tournament with a solid 4-2 win against Croatia, with Harry Kane netting twice.

Tuchel’s troops were held to a goalless draw by Ghana in game two, but goals from Jude Bellingham and Kane were enough for a comfortable 2-0 win against Panama in their final group game.

England’s route to the last eight has been far from easy. They needed two late Kane goals to finally see off DR Congo in the last 32 before going up against co-hosts Mexico at a ferocious Azteca in the Round of 16.

The conditions were stacked against the UEFA Euro 2024 runners-up, but England held their nerve to walk away with a 3-2 win and a place in the quarter-finals. Bellingham bagged a brace before Kane’s winning penalty.

With Haaland up top, anything is possible for Norway today. The Man City goal machine is in red-hot form for his nation, but if England can keep him quiet, Tuchel’s side should do the business in Miami.

This promises to be an entertaining game between two top European nations, but we fancy the English to edge it. Check out 10Bet’s top price of 5/2 for England to win and both teams to score.

Our Prediction: England to Win & Both Teams to Score – 5/2

Norway vs England Odds & Picks

Kane is in the mix to be the competition's top scorer, currently priced at 8/1 in the World Cup Golden Boot odds market. Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe lead the way on eight goals, with Haaland one behind with seven.

Kane has helped himself to six World Cup goals, enough to win him the Golden Boot in the 2018 World Cup in Russia. All eyes will be on Kane and Haaland as two of the world’s top marksmen look to outgun each other in Florida.

Kane has scored over 70 goals for club and country this season, and the England captain is available at 16/5 to open the scoring at Hard Rock Stadium.

Our Prediction: Harry Kane to Score First – 16/5
