The Welterweight battle between champion Islam Makhachev and challenger Ian Machado Garry is the main event of UFC 330.

Can Makhachev Extend His Stunning Winning Run?

Makhachev is currently on the joint-longest winning streak in UFC history (16). The Russian powerhouse currently shares the record with Brazilian legend Anderson Silva.

Makhachev will move ahead and become the consecutive win record holder if he can retain his UFC Welterweight Championship belt in Philly.

The 34-year-old won the title at UFC 322 in New York City last November, defeating Jack Della Maddalena by unanimous decision.

Makhachev has been a force to be reckoned with since turning professional 16 years ago, picking up an impressive 28 wins from 29 bouts to cement himself as one of the greatest of all time.

Machado Garry a Worthy Title Challenger

After suffering the first loss of his professional career in December 2024, Machado Garry has bounced back with strong victories over Carlos Prates and Belal Muhammad.
