WTA Finals Odds, Betting Tips & Predictions: Sabalenka the Favourite?

Today marks the beginning of the season-ending WTA Finals, as the year’s best eight players on the women’s tour meet at Indian Wells in California.
We’ve had three different Grand Slam winners this year, while the World Number 1 title changed hands in September, after Elena Rybakina beat predecessor Aryna Sabalenka at the final of the US Open.
Rybakina , meaning Marta Kostyuk takes her place here.
Best WTA Finals Betting Tips & Predictions
We’ll begin proceedings with the breakdown of the group stage. The eight players are divided into two groups of four, with the top two in each group advancing to the semi-finals next week.
Group One: Marta Kostyuk, Coco Gauff, Jessica Pegula, Linda Noskova.
Group Two: Aryna Sabalenka, Mirra Andreeva, Elina Svitolina, Karolina Muchova.
Our WTA Finals predictions today will focus on each of the four opening round robin games, with a Betnero selection for each one.
James’ WTA Finals betting tips are available to back at Betnero, with odds correct as of 9am GMT on Sunday 8 November.
Marta Kostyuk vs Linda Noskova - Kostyuk to Win @ 11/10
These two met recently at the US Open, with Kostyuk winning a tight three-setter in the Fourth Round a couple of months ago.
And the circumstances of Kostyuk's arrival at the WTA Finals gives her a few advantages. Noskova has been preparing for Elena Rybakina all week, so to now be facing a very different style poses some unique challenges at such short notice.
21-year-old Noskova is in her first WTA Finals after a steady climb from 33 in the world at the start of the year, but a less-than-ideal change in circumstances could be her undoing here and I'm backing Kostyuk to take advantage.
Coco Gauff vs Jessica Pegula - Over 22.5 Games @ 19/20
The all-American clash is a close one on paper and the head-to-head shows five wins apiece from ten meetings.
Pegula has had the upper hand in 2026, winning both matches, including
Nearly half their sets have produced at least ten games so it’s fair to say that when these two meet there’s very little between them.
I’m leaning towards another close match-up and if both players’ serves hold up, Over 22.5 Games has a solid chance.
Aryna Sabalenka vs Karolina Muchova - Sabalenka to Win 2-1 @ 11/4
It’s fair to say 2026 hasn’t quite worked out how Aryna Sabalenka thought it might.
After a remarkable couple of years on tour, the 28-year-old’s run of Grand Slam success has dried up, culminating in her losing her No.1 ranking status.
And she certainly hasn’t had it all her own way against Karolina Muchova, heading into this one 3-2 down in the head-to-head.
Three of the five meetings have gone the distance and four of the matches have featured at least one tie break.
Don’t be surprised to see this one go to three, but I’m backing Sabalenka to advance to the semi-finals and that has to begin with victory here.
Mirra Andreeva vs Elena Svitolina - Svitolina +3.5 Game Handicap to Win @ 3/4.
It’s a classic matchup of youth vs experience on Monday night as French Open champion Mirra Andreeva faces 2018 Tour Finals winner Elena Svitolina.
Svitolina has a victory under her belt against Andreeva at Indian Wells already, back in March 2025.
Her knowhow in this tournament will come in handy but she faces one of the big rising talents on tour and one who beat her comfortably in the Australian Open at the start of the year.
Andreeva is rightly favourite but I think there’s value for the Ukrainian in the handicaps if you think she can run her opponent close.
With that in mind, I’m backing Svitolina with a +3.5 game headstart.
