Wimbledon Tips & Predictions
Jannik Sinner vs Miomir Kecmanovic
On the opening day of the Wimbledon Championships, all eyes will be on defending men’s champion Sinner. The world No. 1 takes on Kecmanovic in his first match at SW19.
Sinner secured his first Wimbledon crown last year, beating Carlos Alcaraz in a thrilling final. The Italian has been in red-hot form over the past couple of years, and Sinner could be the man to beat in the English capital.
The No. 1 seed is looking to bounce back from his Paris disappointment, as he was shocked in the second round of the French Open by Juan Manuel Cerundolo. In truth, he should have no problems in this one.
Kecmanovic has reached the third round of Wimbledon on three occasions. His best Grand Slam performances have come at the Australian Open, where he reached round four in 2022 and 2024.
Unfortunately for the 26-year-old, we can see Sinner starting his title defence with a routine first-round victory. Check out 10Bet’s solid tennis odds of 4/11 for the champion to win by three sets to nil.
Our Prediction: Jannik Sinner to Win 3-0 – 4/11
Yibing Wu vs Novak Djokovic
Novak Djokovic begins his 2026 Wimbledon campaign with a first-round fixture with Yibing Wu. The superb Serbian has one of the best records on the London grass, but how far can the 39-year-old go this year?
Djokovic faces Chinese player Wu, who has picked up just one singles title in his professional career. Wu’s Grand Slam record is not the greatest, reaching the third round of any major only once. He was knocked out in the opening round of Wimbledon in 2023 and last year.
In stark contrast, Djokovic has lifted the trophy at the famous All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club on a staggering seven occasions. Overall, he has won 24 Grand Slams, though his last Wimbledon triumph was back in 2022, and his last major was the 2023 US Open.
The current world No. 4 will be hungry for success in the English capital this summer, and he should have no problems in his opening game against Yu. We are backing Djokovic to win by a -2.5 handicap score at 11/20.
Our Prediction: Novak Djokovic to Win -2.5 – 11/20
Aryna Sabalenka vs Teodora Kostovic
In the women’s Wimbledon, No. 1 seed Sabalenka starts her tournament today with a first-round meeting with 19-year-old Kostovic. As you would expect, the current world No. 1 is the overwhelming favourite.
Sabalenka has won two Australian Opens and two US Opens, but a Wimbledon title has eluded her up to now. She is a three-time semi-finalist, including in 2025. However, she is right up there with the favourites to win this year’s championship.
Kostovic will relish the opportunity of facing the world’s best-ranked player right now. The Serbian made her first Wimbledon appearance last year, losing in the first round. Can she upset the four-time Grand Slam winner on day one?
Kostovic might not be a pushover, but Sabalenka’s qualities should shine through in this first-round match. With that in mind, check out 10Bet’s solid odds of 13/2 for the No. 1 seed to win by two sets to one.
Our Prediction: Aryna Sabalenka to Win 2-1 – 13/2
