The 2026 French Open is in full swing, with the fourth round getting underway this weekend. We have several intriguing fixtures to look forward to at Roland Garros on this fine Sunday.

Alexander Zverev goes up against Jesper de Jong, Elina Svitolina faces Belinda Bencic, and Marta Kostyuk and Iga Swiatek lock horns in some of the standout matches.

Today’s French Open Tips & Predictions

Jesper de Jong vs Alexander Zverev

Zverev is living up to the favourite tag in Paris, seeing off Benjamin Bonzi, Tomas Machac, and Quentin Halys to reach the fourth round with ease. Can the No. 2 seed book his place in the last eight?

De Jong could be a tricky opponent for Zverev in this fourth-round match. The 25-year-old has battled his way through the rounds, beating Stan Wawrinka, Federico Cina, and Karen Khachanov. Could his drop-shot ability hurt Zverev in this one?

As you would expect, the German is the red-hot favourite to get the win. Zverev reached the final of this competition two years ago and would love to claim his first Grand Slam title. His aggression and extra experience could be too much for De Jong to cope with.

Zverev should have enough in the locker to get past the Dutchman in this fourth-round matchup. He has dropped just one set all tournament, and there is decent value in PricedUp’s tennis odds of 4/7 for Zverev to win 3-0.

Our Prediction: Alexander Zverev to Win 3-0 – 4/7

Elina Svitolina vs Belinda Bencic

The women’s tournament has been thrilling so far, and the fourth-round match between Svitolina and Bencic promises to be another cracker. Svitolina is the favourite, but can Bencic upset the No. 7 seed?

Svitolina has never won a Grand Slam, but she is in fine form, reaching the semi-finals of the 2026 Australian Open. She made light work of Tamara Korpatsch in the previous round, winning 6-2, 6-3.

This is the furthest Bencic has gone at Roland Garros, with the Swiss getting past Sinja Kraus, Caty McNally, and Peyton Stearns. Bencic is a capable player on her day, reaching the last four at Wimbledon last year.

Svitolina may be the favourite, but this fourth-round matchup in Paris could go either way. In fact, we are siding with a Bencic win, available at 7/5.

Our Prediction: Belinda Bencic to Win – 7/5

Marta Kostyuk vs Iga Swiatek

Sunday’s showdown between Kostyuk and Swiatek could steal the show. Both ladies will fancy their chances of progressing to the quarter-finals, but who will get the job done?

Kostyuk has had a relatively easy ride to round four, dropping just one set. The Ukrainian ace beat Oksana Selekhmeteva and Katie Volynets to set up a third-round match with Viktorija Golubic. She was too strong for the Swiss, sealing a comfortable 2-0 win to go through.

Swiatek is a former world No. 1 and a six-time Grand Slam winner. Her last victory was at Wimbledon last year, and four of her six major victories have come on the Paris clay. The Polish sensation could be on her way to a fifth French Open title this season.

Swiatek has been her usual dominant self so far, cruising to wins against Emerson Jones, Sara Bejlek, and Magda Linette. Swiatek is the favourite to win the women’s tournament, and the current world No. 3 will take some stopping in the French capital.

In-form Kostyuk could play her part in this mouth-watering fourth-round match, and we can see Swiatek dropping her first set of the tournament. That said, the Pole should book her place in the final eight at Roland Garros. You can get 11/4 for Swiatek to win 2-1.

Our Prediction: Iga Swiatek to Win 2-1 – 11/4
