Premier League Predictions for 31 October: Big Day in England’s Top Tier

We have Premier League predictions and picks for today’s thrilling action in England’s top tier. Manchester City and Arsenal are joint top of the league table, with Brighton & Hove Albion flying high in third.
Premier League Predictions Today
Man City and Brighton lock horns at the Etihad Stadium this afternoon in one of the biggest EPL games of the weekend. Also, Chelsea face Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur play Crystal Palace.
In this in-depth betting preview, we provide our Premier League predictions and check out 10Bet’s latest Premier League odds.
Blues to Pile More Misery on United
The early game sees Chelsea and Man United square off at Stamford Bridge. With the pressure on Michael Carrick, the Red Devils need a result, but the Blues are the favourites with 10Bet.
Chelsea have had a tough week, losing in the league and in the Carabao Cup. Xabi Alonso’s side were beaten 2-0 at home by Tottenham Hotspur before losing to Liverpool on penalties in the cup.
Man United’s form has been dreadful over the past few weeks, with Carrick on the brink of losing his job at Old Trafford. United head to the capital having lost five and drawn three of their last eight in all competitions.
Chelsea will be eager to bounce back from last weekend’s poor showing against Spurs, and we can see Alonso’s men heaping the pressure on Carrick & Co. In our Premier League predictions today, our money is going on the home win at 97/100.
Best Bet: Chelsea to Win (97/100, 10Bet)
Seagulls to Snatch Point at Etihad
First meet third in the Premier League today, as Man City welcome Brighton to the Etihad Stadium. These two battled in a thrilling cup tie in midweek, with City winning on penalties after a 2-2 draw in normal time.
Enzo Maresca suffered his first league loss as Man City boss last weekend, losing 2-1 to Aston Villa at Villa Park. Still, City’s better goal difference has kept them at the top ahead of champions Arsenal.
Brighton have made a superb start to their season, but last weekend’s reverse at Anfield was a setback. They led twice at the Etihad in the cup on Wednesday, but Lewis Dunk missed the decisive penalty to give City the win.
The Seagulls matched Man City in the cup, and two of the last three Etihad meetings have ended in 2-2 draws (in normal time). We fancy the draw and both teams to score here (7/2).
Best Bet: Draw & Both Teams to Score (7/2, 10Bet)
Spurs to Edge All-London Affair
Tottenham and Crystal Palace go head-to-head in an all-London clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the late kick-off. Can Spurs make it three wins on the spin?
Tottenham made a woeful start to their season in terms of results, but the north Londoners have picked up of late, winning the last two in the league.
Roberto De Zerbi’s men got up and running with a 3-1 home win over Coventry City. Tottenham followed that up with a rare victory at Stamford Bridge last Saturday, running out deserved 2-0 winners.
New Palace manager Pierre Sage has struggled to get going at Selhurst Park, guiding the Eagles to just two league wins. The Eagles languish in 17th, one point above the relegation zone.
Palace won at Fulham in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, but they have suffered back-to-back Premier League defeats to Brighton and Newcastle United, scoring none and conceding seven.
Tottenham have had a huge upswing in fortunes, and the feel-good factor will well and truly be back if De Zerbi’s troops can make it nine points from three games today.
We are backing the home team in this one, and there is good value in 6/4 for Tottenham to be winning at half-time and full-time.
Best Bet: Tottenham Hotspur HT/FT (6/4, 10Bet)
