The mammoth international break is finally over, and our first taste of Premier League football in almost three weeks sees champions Arsenal host Leeds in tomorrow’s lunchtime kick-off.

The visitors are one of just five remaining sides yet to taste a Premier League defeat in 2026/27, but my Arsenal vs Leeds prediction is that their run will end in the capital.

It feels like a regulation home win, but Leeds have had a solid start to the campaign and have only lost once in the Premier League since early March.

Arsenal Betting Trends

After a 3-0 humbling by Brighton last time out, the Gunners are three points off Man City at the top of the Premier League table. With City facing an away trip to Liverpool on Sunday, this feels like a great opportunity for Mikel Arteta’s side to bounce back.

Prior to the Brighton defeat, Arsenal had won all of their previous seven matches.
They haven’t lost to Leeds in their last 16 meetings, a run dating back to May 2003.
It was an emphatic double for the hosts over Leeds last season, with Arsenal winning 5-0 at home and 4-0 at Elland Road.

The recent history books don’t make for pretty reading, but the current Leeds crop have made great progress under Daniel Farke and sit in this one-fifth of the table.

They may have had a good start to the season, but Leeds have yet to face one of the division’s elite, and their dismal record against Arsenal points me firmly to a comfortable home win.

Arsenal have won all three of the last meetings, and have won the last six halves of football with an aggregate score of 13-1.

With Arsenal already three points off the Premier League pace, only a win will do here as they look to pile all the pressure on Man City’s Anfield visit on Sunday.
