Horse Racing Tips for 1m3 1/2f Class 4 Fillies' Handicap (5.02 at Bath)

There are some in-form individuals who will be looking to build upon their recent successes, including Aravalli, who arrives on a hat-trick for the Joe Tickle team and, with confirmed stamina in the locker, will be looking to try and keep the winning thread going once again from a mark now 4lb higher than when scoring at Windsor last time out. She will be in the hunt once again with Taylor Fisher on board.

Mythical Bird stayed on strongly when rallying all the way to the line when scoring at Salisbury last time out over 10f, and has to make the shortlist, stepping up in distance to this trip for the first time. A mark of 77 demands more, but she could offer more over a trip, which could easily unlock more improvement. Rob Hornby takes the ride on the 4-year-old, and she has to be respected.

Asset is another who has been in great form and will be looking to offer more over this longer trip. To date, her only win came over 1m, and I thought she looked less likely to flourish over a greater test of stamina than some of her opponents. However, given she is in such fine fettle, she cannot be discounted from proceedings for the Sir Mark Prescott and Luke Morris combination.

Spirit of Jura has been knocking on the door lately and has to come into the shake-up for Charlie Johnston's team, and Pierian is definitely one to take note of for the William Haggas team, who continue to tick along nicely. She has struggled in a better grade on her last two starts, but could make this drop down the ladder into a Class 4 tell. Tom Marquand is on board the lightly-raced 3-year-old.

That leaves Quebella, who I think is by far the most interesting individual in this assignment. The 4-year-old doesn't have many miles on the clock and drops to a mark of 83 in this Class 4 event. She is still relatively unexposed, and on paper at least, this is easier than some of her previous assignments. The step back up in the trip onto some quicker ground can only help the Owen Burrows representative with Jamie Spencer on board. The form of her third-placed effort at Chester last time out is working out well, and I wouldn't be shocked if she ran a big race here under a typical patient Spencer ride, creeping into contention in the latter stages.

I think Belle Amie can benefit from this drop back in trip and a switch back to turf to land this Class 6 encounter. Belle Amie won on her only previous start over Course and Distance — and did so in splendid style. Off a mark of 55 in this small field, one can see David Simcock's charge run a big race here, and it would be far from a shock if she were to make it two-from-two over this trip and track. Underfoot conditions should be spot-on for the daughter of Belardo, with Callum Shepherd taking the ride.
