This is one of the big betting handicaps of the Flat season, and you can make a case for many runners here. Naturally, I am looking for an each-way angle to get involved in this 28-runner cavalry charge. SPANISH VOICE will be the one I am looking at to get involved on the business side of the proceedings at attractive odds. The Andrew Balding-trained representative is thoroughly unexposed over this trip, and has acquitted himself very well at some of the big meetings and looks as though this niche distance could be tailor-made for the 4-year-old. It is worth noting that the colt is two-for-two at the track, and underfoot conditions should be spot on for him. Off his current mark, I think he is more than capable of getting in the mix here at a nice price, and the excellent Oisin Murphy is in the saddle. It is hard to go overboard about anything in a race of this nature where you will need the fortune cookie to crumble in your favour, but I like the claims of Spanish Voice as much as anything for the Kingsclere yard, who remain in good heart after what has been a terrific few months for the team.

There are seven runners due to head to the track for the Group 1 Middle Park Stakes, and I really like the claims of the Godolphin representative, INNER CITY BLUES. The Charlie Appleby team have won the last two renewals of this encounter, and will be looking for more success here with this twice-raced son of Blue Point, who has delivered so far and brings an unbeaten tag to proceedings.

A cosy winner of the Group 2 July Stakes, this imposing-looking sprinter looks to have the tools required to take his game to the next level. I was particularly impressed by the way his stride lengthened last time out, and he seemed to thrive when travelling across a quick surface. William Buick takes the ride in this 6f assignment, and it would be no surprise if this combination were just a notch above the others in what is always a great race in itself, and often an excellent pointer to the future.

In The Cheveley Park, a lot of eyes are on Sun Goddess, who could have too much for her rivals in this Group 1 contest, but I am taking her on with SENORITA BONITA, who has shown explosive gears, and could easily have more to offer coming into this acid test.

She blew the field apart in the Prix Morny last time out, and is versatile in regards to ground, so I think the Crisford filly looks to have the right credentials to win this. That man Oisin Murphy is in the saddle, and I like this combination.
