It's Saturday, and it is the final day of Glorious Goodwood 2026. We are set for a cracking day of action, and Ed Quigley, who has been firing in the winners lately, is in the hot seat here to give his best bets for what should be a sparkling day at the Sussex venue...

Sing Us A Song represents Wathan Racing who target this meeting, and the 4-year-old looks to have very solid claims of getting involved at the business end of proceedings here. A previous winner at this venue, he has been running well in defeat so far this season, and was unlucky when meeting trouble in-running during the closing stages of his 1m6f Handicap at Royal Ascot. A return to this venue will do him no harm at all and he should be able to get in the thick of things here off a mark of 97. He is still relatively unexposed over this staying-trip, so he retains the potential to progress beyond his current rating with this taxation on his stamina promising to suit. The Ralph Beckett team have been in good form recently, and it would be no surprise to see Sing Us A Song add to the tally for the team with a bold showing here.

Goodwood 2.25 - Al Aasy

Al Aasy loves this venue having won this contest in 2024 and 2025. He looks to have every chance of following up and making it a hattrick of wins in this Group 3 assignment ...

Al Aasy is a quirky sort who adores this venue and looks to hold every chance of making it three wins on the spin in this encounter. The William Haggas team are in red-hot form and will be confident of getting the job done here with Tom Marquand on board. Al Aasy is a strong traveller who will come from off the pace, and the style of his racing is well suited to the demands of Goodwood. He can be switched off towards the rear in the early fractions and then produced late on where his strong turn of foot at the trip can be devastating. At Group 3 level this 9-year-old is super, and it will take a very smart performance from someone to get the better of him here on these terms. I think this combination could prove a tough nut to crack.

Goodwood 3.35 - Flash Harry e/w

This is wide-open as usual, and Flash Harry looks the each-way value in a race that will be fast and furious...

Flash Harry could go well for each-way backes in the usual cavalry charge that is the Stewards' Cup. Flash Harry has been held on two starts so far this term, but did win on his only previous start over Course and Distance so is far from a forlorn hope of hitting the frame at big odds. Quick ground suits and Clive Cox does well at this meeting. From a mark of 98 this unexposed sort could easily have more to offer from stall 14 with the excellent Jack Nicholls in the saddle claiming 3lb. This combination could get involved at attractive odds in a race in which you can naturally make a case for quite a few individuals in what will be a ferocious scrap.
