The Lowdown

As is often the case, the Portugal squad is an embarrassment of riches for new boss Jorge Jesus, who replaced Roberto Martinez after his side’s World Cup exit at the hands of Spain in the Round of 16.

41-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo is in the squad once again and he’s likely to start in Lisbon, given that his new international manager’s previous role was alongside him at Al Nassr.
