Thursday brings the final night of regular season action, and our darts betting tips take us to the Utilita Arena in Sheffield for the last warm-up before next week’s 2026 Premier League Darts play-offs at The O2.

Luke Littler, Jonny Clayton, Gerwyn Price and Luke Humphries are all already through to play-offs night, which means the play-off picture is settled, but seedings for next week and £10,000 of nightly prize money are still on the line.

Littler tops the table on 41 points, chasing his own all-time Premier League points record of 45, while Humphries is timing his title defence to perfection after winning Night 15 in Birmingham with averages of 107, 110 and 100 across his three matches.

With Night 16 also being the seeded-draw night - 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5 - the bracket has thrown up some fascinating quarter-finals.

Every leg matters as momentum builds toward The O2 next Thursday.

Darts Betting Tips: Four Quarter-Final Calls

The night opens with Jonny Clayton against Stephen Bunting. Clayton is the heavy favourite but has been visibly flat in recent weeks, including being whitewashed 6-0 by Littler in Birmingham and beaten 6-4 by Bunting back in Belfast earlier this season. The Bullet, by contrast, hit six 180s and missed three match darts against Humphries in the Leeds semi-final. With Clayton already locked into second seed and nothing left to play for, Bunting at 6/5 is the play I like.

Next up is Gerwyn Price against Gian van Veen. Price is the 8/11 favourite and won their last 2026 meeting 6-4, but Van Veen has averaged over 100 in back-to-back nights and is the form Dutchman in the field. Price has had his focus split with the UK Open Pool Championship looming, and has reached two of the last three nightly finals without converting either. Take van Veen at 11/10 to deliver one final upset.

The best darts tips from James are available via PricedUp, and odds are correct as of 11pm UK time on Wednesday 20 May.

Third on the card is Luke Littler against Josh Rock. Littler is around 1/4 and will be everyone's banker, but the straight win is no value at all. Rock is rooted to the bottom of the table on eight points with zero nightly wins and has lost both 2026 meetings to Littler. With the teenager chasing his all-time points record, expect a serious statement. Take Littler -2.5 legs at 10/11 - he has cleared this handicap regularly against the lower seeds this season.

Luke Humphries rounds off the quarter-finals against Michael van Gerwen. Humphries thrashed MVG 6-1 in Cardiff earlier this season, averaged 110.98 to beat Littler in last Thursday's final, and is the man in the best form of anyone in the field. MVG has missed out on the play-offs, and his head will be elsewhere. Humphries -1.5 legs at 11/10 is my darts betting tip selection for this one.

4/1 Darts Tips: Humphries To Make It Back-To-Back

Despite Littler being the 10/11 favourite to win the night, Luke Humphries at 4/1 is the standout darts betting tip of the evening.

The defending champion has just won Night 15 with the best averages of any player in the field, and the bracket lines up beautifully - MVG in the quarter-final, then likely Price or van Veen in the semis, before a potential final against Littler, who he beat 6-3 just last Thursday.

A second consecutive nightly win for Humphries at the Utilita Arena looks excellent value.
