IPL Cricket Betting Tips: Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Gujarat Titans
The 2026 Indian Premier League season is in full swing and we’re kicking off our weekend of cricket betting tips with a trip to Bengaluru as RCB host Gujarat Titans.
It was a slow start to the 2026 campaign for the Titans, losing to Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals, albeit by slender margins. Since then, three wins from four have put them among the chasing pack for a play-off spot in what is still the early stages of the competition.
RCB, meanwhile, have started steadily in the defence of the title they won last year, with four wins from their opening six. They have work to do if they want to catch up with the top two, though, after their defeat to Delhi last Saturday with a ball to spare.

Cricket Betting Tips: Salt To Make A Smashing Start?
Two weeks ago today, England international Phil Salt was heading back to the pavilion after a golden duck in his side’s six-wicket defeat to Rajasthan Royals.
In the three matches since, Salt has amassed nearly 150 runs, including half-centuries against Mumbai and Delhi. Gujarat have kept things tight in recent games, chasing just 165 and 181 in their back-to-back successes, but those did come against sides sitting in the bottom two positions of the IPL table.
RCB represent a genuine step up in class from the likes of Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants, so we like the hosts at 8/11 to have the highest score after six overs of each sides’ innings.
Salt will be ably supported by Indian legend Virat Kohli, who boasts an IPL century against today’s opponents from the 2023 season and has started the 2026 campaign well too, averaging over 40 and looking as sharp as always in this format.
With such a formidable pairing, 10/11 for RCB to have the highest opening partnership looks like a great bet. Individually, Kohli is 15/8 to top-score for the hosts.
6/5 Cricket Betting Tip: Gujarat Gunning For Fours
Despite a bit of a stop-start campaign, Gujarat have plenty of hitting power to call upon and only one side has scored more fours than their 105 from six games. RCB have eleven fewer fours but are way ahead when it comes to sixes, amassing more than double Gujarat's 34 maximums.
8/15 for RCB to hit more sixes isn’t going to get anyone particularly excited but on home soil I can’t see it losing. The visitors need to pile on the runs to have any chance here and 6/5 for them to hit the most 4s could be a shrewd pick, especially if they’re batting first.
At the top of the order for Gujarat is Indian test and one-day captain Shubman Gill. The 26-year-old has been in excellent form, averaging 53, and is the only player in the visiting camp with a significant T20 score on this ground, hammering an unbeaten 104 from 52 deliveries in a Gujarat victory back in 2023.
With that in mind, Gill looks like the best bet at 21/10 to top the run charts for Gujarat.
