Cricket Betting Tips: T20 Best Bets For Today May 27
The 2026 Indian Premier League play-offs continue on Wednesday, and our cricket betting tips turn to New Chandigarh as Sunrisers Hyderabad face Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator…
Winner stays alive, loser goes home.
SRH finished third on net run rate after a 55-run hammering of table-toppers Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their final group game. Pat Cummins' side have won four of their last five and look the form team heading into the knockouts.
RR are not in the same shape. Riyan Parag's men scraped into the play-offs only after Jofra Archer rescued them at the Wankhede on Sunday, smashing 32 off 15 and taking 3/17 to beat Mumbai. Strip out that win and the seven-wicket chase against LSG, and the Royals have lost three of their last five.
Cricket Betting Tips: Abhishek To Punish RR Again
The last time these two sides met, it was SRH who came out on top - making it 2-0 in the season series. The all-time head-to-head sits 14-9 in SRH's favour across 23 IPL meetings, and the Sunrisers have done particular damage to the Royals' bowling attack in 2026.
For SRH, there has been one outstanding partnership at the top of the order. Heinrich Klaasen has just passed 600 runs for the season, sitting third on the Orange Cap list behind only GT's Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill. Alongside him, Abhishek Sharma has scored at a strike rate of nearly 200 and hit 56 against RCB last time out.
The best T20 predictions from James are available via 10bet10bet, and odds are correct as of 11:00pm UK time on Tuesday 26 May.
Klaasen is the SRH top-bat favourite at 5/6, but at that price, there is little value, so Abhishek is the better play. His powerplay record against Rajasthan is outstanding, and Mullanpur's short square boundaries of 67 and 64 metres will only encourage him further.
At 9/4 with 10bet to top-score for SRH, Abhishek is our top cricket betting tip today. Over 22.5 match sixes at 5/6 also looks fair on a flat deck.
T20 predictions: Malinga The Difference With The Old Ball
Rajasthan's headline name remains Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. The 15-year-old has 53 sixes for the season, six short of Chris Gayle's all-time IPL record of 59 set in 2012, and was named Player of the Match against LSG with 93 off 38. At 6/5 to top-score for RR, however, he is short of value too.
The angle for SRH is the death overs. Eshan Malinga has emerged as the most effective reverse-swing bowler in the IPL, with Cummins building the SRH bowling plan around him. Against a Rajasthan top order that depends heavily on Sooryavanshi's powerplay scoring, Malinga's overs at the back end are where the match is decided.
At 6/4 with 10bet to be SRH's top wicket-taker, he is our cricket best bet from the bowling unit.
That said, Rajasthan have won all three of their outings at New Chandigarh this season, including a six-wicket win over PBKS, and Archer is in the form of his career. They will not roll over.
But the form, the head-to-head, and the matchups all point one way. Sunrisers Hyderabad at 8/11 to win the match is also worth backing.
