Premier League Golden Boot Odds and Picks for 2026/27 Season

The new Premier League season is just around the corner, so it’s the perfect time to switch our focus on some ante-post markets.

Today we’re taking a look at some picks for the Premier League Golden Boot. We’ll kick off with the leading runners and riders (Spoiler alert: Erling Haaland *may* be mentioned) before picking out some long shots that will hopefully provide some value for the season.

The Favourites

It’s no surprise to see Erling Haaland at the top of the betting, with the Norwegian priced at around 4/6 (PricedUp) to top the charts come May.

The 26-year-old has won the Golden Boot in three of his four Premier League seasons, and with Mo Salah moving on and Alexander Isak yet to prove 100% fitness, the runway looks clear for him to do it once again.

Isak is second-favourite at 9/1 but has yet to hit his Newcastle heights since joining Liverpool, while there may be doubts over Brentford’s Igor Thiago (12/1) after this disappointing World Cup with Brazil.

Further back, the likes of Joao Pedro of Chelsea (18/1) and Arsenal’s Viktor Gyokeres (16/1) are the final players below the 20/1 mark.

Outsider Value

With Haaland offering such little value, it makes sense to look further afield at some of the Golden Boot long shots, especially if you’re looking to back them each-way.

In 15 of the last 24 seasons, a 100/1 shot has placed in the top four in the top scorer race.

So, with that in mind, Fulham’s Gonzalo Garcia could be worth a punt if his Real Madrid pedigree shines through.

Rayan of Bournemouth looks like a superstar in the making and was a bright spark for Brazil at the World Cup. He scored 5 in 15 after signing in January from Vasco de Gama, and if you shop around, 100/1 is definitely a price you can pick up.

And finally, Brian Brobbey had an excellent debut campaign for Sunderland last season, followed by three goals at the World Cup. At a best-price 150/1 he could well be worth a go each-way.
