Ipswich and Forest Share Spoils as Boro Batter Bolton

The weekend action got underway last night, with a match apiece in the Premier League and Championship.
Forest Fail to Make Town Pay
In the top flight, Ipswich recovered from an early Nottingham Forest goal to draw 1-1 at Portman Road.
The visitors dominated the opening proceedings and were rewarded with an excellent 13th minute goal.
Daniel Munoz was released on the right-hand side by Morgan Gibbs-White and the full-back’s pinpoint cross was slotted home on the volley by defensive colleague Neco Williams.
Gibbs-White was so close to turning goalscorer himself, but his effort was cleared by a combination of goalkeeper Christian Walton and defender Leif Davis.
And they were made to pay in comical fashion.
Forest centre back Nikola Milenkovic dallied on the ball for too long, allowing home forward Julio Enciso to pinch it and march through on goal before rolling the ball past Mats Selz.
The draw takes Forest out of the relegation zone, but with the rest of the division still to play, they could well find themselves back in the bottom three by Monday.
Boro Climb to Championship Summit
We have new leaders in the Championship after Middlesbrough dismantled Bolton with a superb away performance.
Amario Cozier-Duberry teed up Aidan Morris for the opener after just 13 minutes and it was one-way traffic from there.
A Lewis Brunt own goal and Will Lankshear’s 12th goal of the season had Boro 3-0 up, before Theo Bair appeared to give the hosts a lifeline in first-half stoppage time.
But further goals from Cozier-Duberry and Lankshear in the second half added some extra gloss to a ruthless performance that puts Boro two points clear at the top of the second tier.
