Tottenham Hotspur had a tough start to their Premier League campaign, failing to win any of the opening six.

Nevertheless, Spurs have hung on and turned the corner, picking up back-to-back league wins to move up to 14th. Can they make it three in a row when Crystal Palace visit Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this evening?

Spurs Gunning for 3rd Straight EPL Win

Tottenham finally got the monkey off their back with a much-needed victory over newly promoted Coventry City in their last Premier League home match.

It was far from straightforward, but goals from James Maddison, Omar Marmoush, and Ben Davies were enough for a deserved 3-1 triumph on home turf.

Spurs followed that up with a rare win at Chelsea last weekend. Roberto De Zerbi’s men were excellent at Stamford Bridge, with a late own goal and a Mathys Tel strike securing a 2-0 victory.

It has been a rough time for Tottenham fans, but the back-to-back wins have lifted spirits. Spurs will move into the top half of the Premier League table with three points tonight.

Pressure Mounting on Palace Boss

Pierre Sage has endured a difficult first couple of months at Selhurst Park. The Eagles hover just above the relegation zone after losing five of their opening eight league games.

The last two have been particularly disappointing. Palace lost 5-0 to rivals Brighton & Hove Albion before a 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle United.

Sage’s side responded with a midweek Carabao Cup victory at Fulham, but can they get back to winning ways in the league? They have claimed just one EPL win on the road this term.

The South Londoners won at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last March, with Ismaila Sarr (2) and Jorgen Strand Larsen on target. However, out-of-form Palace are the underdogs in today’s fixture, and Tottenham will be targeting all three points.
