Arsenal Aiming to Maintain 100% Winning Record

Arsenal are in stunning form at the start of the 2026-27 season, with seven wins from seven across all competitions.

The English champions will be looking for an eighth successive victory when they travel to Brighton & Hove Albion in Premier League action this Saturday.

Gunners Perfect So Far

Winning the Premier League title is one thing, but defending the trophy is an entirely different matter. The Londoners have made the right start, winning four league games on the trot to sit joint top of the table with title rivals Manchester City.

Mikel Arteta’s boys have seen off Coventry City, Aston Villa, Chelsea, and Sunderland. The champions have scored eight goals and conceded just one along the way.

They are also flying in the cup competitions. Arsenal kicked off the new campaign with a convincing 3-0 FA Community Shield victory over Man City in Cardiff.

The North London outfit won at Napoli in their UEFA Champions League opener and beat Ipswich Town away from home in the Carabao Cup.

Can Arsenal Win at the Amex?

Next up for Arsenal is a tough trip to the Amex Stadium to face in-form Brighton. The Seagulls have also started well, collecting seven league points. Albion also came from two goals down to win 3-2 at Manchester United in the cup in midweek.

Fabian Hurzeler’s well-drilled side are the top scorers in England’s top flight this term, scoring a staggering 13 goals in four games. Overall, Brighton have netted 20 goals in seven league and cup fixtures.

The Amex is never an easy place to pick up a result, but Arsenal are unbeaten in their last six visits (four wins, two draws). Last season, a Bukayo Saka goal gave the Gunners a 1-0 triumph.

Saturday’s showdown at the Amex promises to be a cracker, but can Arsenal keep up their 100% winning start and go into the international break at the summit?
