After a three-week break to let international football take centre stage, the EFL Championship is back tonight as West Ham United host Queens Park Rangers at the London Stadium.

The Hammers are in good form, and a victory over Rangers would take them to the summit before the others play over the Championship weekend.

Irons Looking to Extend Unbeaten Run

West Ham started slowly, taking two points from their opening three after Premier League relegation. However, the Hammers are now one of the form teams in the second tier, with four wins and two draws in their last six.

Before the international break, West Ham came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with rivals Millwall at The Den. Konstantinos Mavropanos was the hero, netting in the 80th minute to rescue a point for Nuno Espirito Santo’s men.

United have also been excellent at home of late, winning their last two without conceding. In their last home league match, West Ham hammered Wrexham 6-0.

Rangers Aiming for First Win in Five

QPR made a strong start to their season, but they head to the London Stadium winless in four Championship fixtures.

However, after the Middlesbrough loss, the Rs have drawn three consecutive games, coming from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Preston North End before the break.

More Championship Fixtures to Look Out For

League leaders Swansea City welcome inconsistent Norwich City to South Wales on Saturday lunchtime. The Swans are looking to keep up their fine form under Vitor Matos, and a win would keep them at the top.

Rivals Southampton and Portsmouth lock horns at St Mary’s on Sunday. The South Coast derby is always a feisty affair, and Sunday’s showdown promises to produce fireworks.

Elsewhere this weekend, West Bromwich Albion take on Birmingham City, Middlesbrough entertain Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Burnley travel to Watford.
