Why did you decide to become a sports journalist?
I love writing, and I love sports, so combining the two into one passion and getting paid to do it is a dream come true.
How do you research and verify the information in your articles?
I always check my sources and verify stats and information through official channels and competition pages; it’s better to be second and right than first and wrong when reporting.
What is most important for you when writing sports content?
For me, it’s being factual, informative, and easy to understand. Sports can be complex, so I always try to explain difficult information in simple ways to help the reader.
How do you stay up to date with sports and leagues you cover?
I am always refreshing results pages and league tables, and will watch any game that’s on TV when I can.
