Why did you decide to become a sports journalist?
My passion for sport and writing. Growing up, I always wanted to be a football commentator, so writing about the sport I love is the next best thing.
How do you research and verify the information in your articles?
I use various trusted websites for my stats and figures. When possible, I use official club and event websites, so the information is 100% factual before it goes live.
What is most important for you when writing sports content?
Getting the perfect balance between facts, predictions, news, and opinions. Also, it’s important to write clearly and concisely while remaining knowledgeable and fair.
How do you stay up to date with sports and leagues you cover?
I watch a lot of sports. I subscribe to just about every sports channel and stay up to date with the top leagues and events by researching online daily.
Do you have any direct experience in sports (playing, coaching, officiating, or analytics)?
I played football as a kid, but I prefer to watch from the sidelines these days. However, I would love to get into football coaching one day.
