Truist Championship Odds

The 2025 PGA Tour golf season continues, with Philadelphia Cricket Club next on tap to host the Truist Championship in Flourtown, Penn., beginning Thursday. Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa, and Ludvig Aberg headline among Truist Championship bets this week, as John Haslbauer provides his favorite picks among all the golf odds for this tourney. You’ll find the top odds across the best sports betting sites.

PGA TOUR action is back with a new twist, as the 2025 Truist Championship brings us to the famed Philadelphia Cricket Club for the first time. As the sixth Signature Event of the season, an exciting week of golf awaits with all of the TOUR’s best (sans Scottie Scheffler) vying for the $20M purse.

It remains to be seen exactly how the Philadelphia Cricket Club will stand up against PGA TOUR competition, but all initial research would suggest this is a week where precision and touch around the greens will prevail over power alone. In particular, I’m looking to lock in on the top players off the tee who excel in mid-to-long iron approach play beyond 150 yards.

Below, we’ll go through my final Truist Championship bets. Click the odds anywhere in this article to place Truist Championship wagers. For a full breakdown of the tournament and course, visit my Truist Championship preview.

HOW I BUILT MY Truist Championship Betting Card

I’m a little less intimidated by McIlroy than I should be this week. Despite this being a Signature Event, I still expect McIlroy to be more preoccupied with his prep for Quail Hollow Club the following week in his quest for multiple Major victories in 2025.

Instead, I’ve prioritized the more precise ball-strikers who can separate with their accuracy on this positional course, which is laden with bunkers and hazards for any misfires off the tee or on approach.

From a unit allocation standpoint, it’s back to business as usual for my weekly stake at the 2025 Truist Championship.

  • Outrights: 3.5U in to pay 25U each
  • FRL: 0.5U in to pay out 10U+ each
  • Full tournament matchups: 1U in to pay out 2U
  • Props: 1.5U in to pay out 3U+ each

truist championship BETS: OUTRIGHTS (3.60 UNITS)

Collin Morikawa

My bet: +1600
Best available odds:

I won’t be as bold as to say Morikawa should be the favorite this week over Rory McIlroy, but if we look purely at the numbers, this is a course set up that should cater to his strengths better than anyone else in this field. Morikawa is the No. 1 player in my model this week, a credit to ranking top-2 in the key categories of SG: TOT, SG: T2G, SG: Ball Striking, and Comp Course History. It is not a matter of if, but when Morikawa will pick up a win in 2025, and a switch to the hot hand of Joe Greiner on the bag may just be the catalyst he needs to break through.

Tommy Fleetwood

My bet: +2800
Best available odds:

Nobody is more due for a PGA TOUR win than Tommy Fleetwood, as the World No. 11 is still in search of his first. Perhaps a change of pace to a course we’ve never seen before is the missing piece he’s needed to break through. Fleetwood has shown tremendous form for the last year, quietly piecing together a stretch of 17 top-25 finishes over his last 18 starts. Ranking top-10 in SG: T2G and SG: Ball Striking over the last 36 rounds, this is a good number on Fleetwood in a limited field event that should accentuate his strengths.

Corey Conners

My bet: +3000
Best available odds:

My featured spotlight player this week, there’s just something about Corey Conners in the Northeast that jumps out to me. He’s become increasingly relevant in Majors over recent years, with nine top-25 finishes since 2020. That includes a current stretch of three consecutive top-25 finishes in Majors. His resume may lack the volume of wins we would expect from someone of his ball-striking caliber, but with an improved putting baseline this season, Conners has proven he can hold his own in these deep, Signature Event fields.

Justin Rose

My bet: +7500
Best available odds:

It’s been a great 2025 season for Justin Rose, who is putting together a compelling case to join Team Europe at Bethpage this fall. Beyond his playoff loss to Rory McIlroy at The Masters, Rose has also picked up top-10 finishes in Signature Events at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The veteran ranks No. 8 in my model this week, a credit to his recent form and short game prowess.

truist championship BETS: FIRST-ROUND LEADER (0.60 UNITS)

Aaron Rai

My bet: +5000
Best available odds:

For all intents and purposes, Philadelphia Cricket Club looks to be the type of course that needs to be played from the fairway to generate scoring opportunities, given its many bunkers and firm and fast greens. That’s something Rai should be able to capitalize on, as one of the most reliable fairway finders and mid-iron approach players in this field.

Will Zalatoris

My bet: +6600
Best available odds:

There’s no question Zalatoris’ iron play has returned to form. He’s just needed to polish up the short game a bit more recently for more consistency. With volatility being the main concern for Zalatoris, I’m drawn to him in the First Round Leader market on a course that should suit his game well.

Byeong Hun An

My bet: +7000
Best available odds:

Despite the scorecard yardage, longer hitters have an edge at the Philadelphia Cricket Club. He has played some of his best golf at Waialae CC, another 7,100-yard par-70, so a similar game plan may prove fruitful in his first look at this new venue.

Tom Hoge

My bet: +8000
Best available odds:

Continuing to ride the hot hand, Hoge has found his groove with his approach play, ranking top-5 in the field in the all-important category of SG: Approach. Hoge’s recent success can also be credited to improved accuracy off the tee and a streaky putter, which should pay dividends in the First Round Leader market if that continues.

truist championship BETS: PROPS (2.60 UNITS)

Full Tournament Matchup: Ludvig Aberg Over Patrick Cantlay

My bet: +100

Patrick Cantlay becomes a trendy consideration whenever we return to classical venues with Bentgrass greens. I think we’ve gone a bit too far in this market, however, as it’s been over a year since we’ve seen Cantlay closely contend down the stretch on a Sunday. Aberg, however, has already established himself as a proven winner in a Signature Event this season, winning the Genesis Invitational in February. Aberg’s game translates at pretty much any venue you put him on, but I’ll give a slight edge to him at the Philadelphia Cricket Club, where long and straight drives will be rewarded.

Top-20 Finish: Justin Rose

My bet: +200
Best available odds:

It’s been a bit of a boom or bust season for Rose, but all of his best results have come in these limited field Signature Events. Rating out the top-10 in my model this week, Rose is one of my favorite values on the board at the 2025 Truist Championship. His elite short game and recent form leading in present a clear path for a high finish at the Philadelphia Cricket Club.

Top-20 Finish: Gary Woodland

My bet: +375
Best available odds:

Looking a bit further down the board, Woodland’s form may be going overlooked this week due to some recent withdrawals. I expect there to be more of an advantage for longer hitters and stronger long-iron players than would otherwise meet the eye at a 7,119-yard course. Woodland has flashed his upside recently this season, finishing runner-up at the Valero Texas Open just three starts ago.

ONE AND DONE

My pick: Collin Morikawa

There are just two Signature Events remaining after the Truist Championship (the Memorial and Travelers), and with more LIV golfers available to us in the Majors, this is a good time to deploy one of the favorites in One And Done. While Morikawa is a great option at the Memorial, I’ve found myself saving Scheffler for that event, so as the No. 1 player in my model, this seems like the perfect opportunity to trot him out.

Morikawa is in excellent form, and with no Scheffler present and a limited field of opposition, this may be his best opportunity remaining on the schedule to pick up a win in 2025.

I would also consider playing Tommy Fleetwood, Corey Conners, or Patrick Cantlay in OAD, if not Morikawa.

truist championship Bets: THE CARD

That’ll do it for this week’s PGA Tour golf bets. Best of luck this week with your bets on Truist Championship odds, and see you next week for the PGA Championship.
