2023 Tour de France Odds: Vingegaard, Pogacar Clear Top Favorites
With the 110th Tour de France just days away, odds have opened for the biggest event in cycling. No surprise at the very top as the two most recent winners, Jonas Vingegaard and Tadej Pogacar, are essentially co-favorites, with the slightest of market lean to 2022 champ Vingegaard. The 21-leg journey begins Saturday, July 1 in Bilbao, Spain, crosses into France in Leg 3 and ends Sunday, July 23 in Paris along the famous Champs-Élysées, with athletes pedaling past the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower.

Vingegaard Slightly Favored Over Pogacar
22 cycling teams compete in the Tour de France, but the most prestigious yellow jersey goes to the individual champion.
Vingegaard and Pogacar have finished 1-2 in each of the past two Tours de France. Last year, the former came out on top, besting his rival by two minutes and 43 seconds. In 2021, the Slovenian (winning his second Tour de France in a row), outperformed Vingegaard by five minutes and 20 seconds.
Pogacar is the younger competitor (24 versus 26) and has the more established track record, having competed at the top level since 2018. He has won two major races in 2023.
Vingegaard has scooped three titles. But, he came third in the Paris-Nice, a shorter precursor to the Tour de France, which Pogacar won in March.
The markets don’t really see anyone else within shouting distance of these two beasts. The top American riders are Matteo Jorgenson (+10000) and Sepp Kuss (+12500).

How To Watch 2023 Tour de France
The 2023 Tour de France begins July 1. It stretches throughout most of the month, ending with Stage 21 on Sunday, July 23. Fans and bettors can catch the majority of the action on Peacock, with NBC and USA taking some occasional coverage as well. Most of the stages begin in the morning, around 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. ET.
