TNF Week 9 Parlay Picks & Player Props: Ravens and Dolphins Try to Salvage Their Seasons
Written By Blaise Bourgeois | Last Updated at October 30, 2025
Thursday Night Football returns tonight with two of the NFL's unexpected disappointments going head-to-head, each trying to salvage their seasons. It's the 2-5 Baltimore Ravens traveling to Hard Rock Stadium to take on the 2-6 Miami Dolphins.
Both the Dolphins and the Ravens have been teams without the superstars they need to succeed on the gridiron. Two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson is set to return this week after missing the last month with a hamstring injury. Considering it's officially do-or-die for Baltimore, his return could not have come at a better time.
Ravens vs Dolphins
To make matters much worse, the Ravens have been missing several key defensive figureheads. They lost a fantastic safety in Ar’Darius Washington with a torn Achilles in the offseason, outside linebacker Tavius Robinson broke his foot against the Rams and should miss most of the season, and superstar defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike suffered a season-ending, career-threatening neck injury.
The Ravens have also had to deal with simultaneous injuries to middle linebacker Roquan Smith (hamstring), cornerback Marlon Humphrey (calf), fullback Patrick Ricard, safety Kyle Hamilton (groin), and offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle). However, outside of their injured reserve, their latest injury report looks as good as it has all season.
On the other sideline, Tyreek Hill tore multiple knee ligaments in Week 4 in a win over the Jets, which now has him considering retirement.
"At the end of the day, I feel like that decision is based upon how I feel and where my mindset is at the moment," Hill said on The Set with Terron Armstead podcast. "I'm happy with the career that I've had. I love playing football. I love it, but it takes a lot. It takes a lot on you mentally, it takes a lot on you physically.
"I'm at the point now where I need to have a conversation with Mom, family, everybody. Wherever my mind is at the time, the decision will be made, but I know right now, I haven't had time to live in the moment."
Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa continues to deal with a strange eye injury. He woke up with his left eye nearly swollen shut before last week's Falcons contest, but had arguably his best performance of the season. Wearing a visor for the first time in his career, Tagovailoa went 20-for-26, throwing for four touchdowns and no interceptions in a 34-10 win. He did so without veteran tight end Darren Waller, who scored four touchdowns in his first three games after coming out of retirement. He's on injured reserve with a pectoral injury and should return before the end of the season.
With the 2025 MLB World Series taking a day off, all eyes will be on the NBA and Thursday Night Football. We've cooked up a number of NFL parlay bets that can see your bankroll soar in a heartbeat. Take advantage of sportsbook promos to get maximum value for your picks tonight.
Lamar Filets the Fish - Parlay
📊 Parlay Odds: +2104 (via FanDuel) ⭐
- Leg 1: Lamar Jackson 3+ Passing Touchdowns
- Leg 2: Lamar Jackson Anytime Touchdown Scorer
- Leg 3: Mark Andrews Anytime Touchdown Scorer
- Leg 4: Ravens -7.5
In the past, whenever Lamar Jackson has been out with an injury, it's been at the end of the season. This is remarkably the first time in his NFL career that he's had to come back after missing time due to injury. We have no idea how he's going to bounce back, but against a team like the Dolphins, with the season on the line every week, he's going to be playing fearless football.
We don't think he's going to be doing much on the ground after dealing with an injured hamstring, but this is also a guy who has over 6,000 career rushing yards and 34 rushing touchdowns. His worst day running the ball is better than many quarterbacks' best days.
With Jackson being so dependent on his arm today, look for him to find his favorite target, Mark Andrews, in the red zone tonight.
Achane Brings the Pain - Parlay
📊 Parlay Odds: +4566 (via FanDuel) ⭐
- Leg 1: De'Von Achane 2+ Touchdowns
- Leg 2: De'Von Achane 100+ Rushing Yards
- Leg 3: De'Von Achane 5+ Receptions
- Leg 4: Miami ML
Given that the Ravens possess one of the worst defenses in football, including the 23rd-ranked run defense, we think De'Von Achane has the potential to go off tonight. While Baltimore has certainly recovered many of their better defensive playmakers, they have to go up against a speedster who is averaging five yards a carry and nearly five receptions a game. He's going to touch the ball a lot tonight, whether it will be enough is the big question.

Let Derrick Henry Do the Work - Player Prop Parlay
📊 Parlay Odds: +6000 (via DraftKings) ⭐
- Leg 1: Derrick Henry 130+ Rushing Yards
- Leg 2: Derrick Henry 2+ Touchdowns
- Leg 3: Derrick Henry 3+ Receptions
- Leg 4: Derrick Henry 25+ Receiving Yards
We don't know how active Lamar Jackson is going to be after missing a month. Considering they're playing the Dolphins, Jackson may think Derrick Henry is capable of doing all the work tonight. We all know he can step up if needed.

We realize that asking Henry to get three catches for 25 yards is a lot, given that he has only five catches for 44 yards the entire season. However, if Jackson wants to take it easy tonight or wants to ease into the game, some simple dump-offs to his star running back can get him started.
