When will Tim Patrick be back and return to the Broncos?

So when will Tim Patrick be back and return to the field for the Broncos? It won’t be this season, unfortunately. Denver placed Patrick on Injured Reserve in early August, which means he is not eligible to play in the 2022 season.

The silver lining for Patrick is that recovery timelines for ACL injuries aren’t quite as daunting as they used to be. Consider that Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup tore his ACL in Week 17 of last season. He then waited until Feb. 10 to get surgery. Gallup incredibly did not even have to start this season on the PUP list and is eligible to play the first week of the season for the Cowboys.

All injuries are different, of course, so we aren’t sure if Patrick will have anywhere near as speedy a recovery. But conventional wisdom suggests that he will be healthy enough to take part in Broncos training camp next summer. Recovery from ACL injuries for athletes generally takes around 9-12 months.

Broncos odds

The injury to Patrick was obviously a huge blow to Denver but there is still plenty of talent left on that offense. Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy and Javonte Williams will give new quarterback Russell Wilson plenty of help. Denver’s defense is again expected to be stout. The Broncos were +1700 to win the Super Bowl at FanDuel Sportsbook on Sept. 3. Nathaniel Hackett’s squad was +260 at FD to win the loaded AFC West. Below are live Denver odds.

Courtland Sutton is expected to be Wilson’s favorite target on offense. View his player prop prices below.
