FanDuel No-Sweat Dolphins Bengals Same Game Parlay Strategy

Same Game Parlay

Get your parlays ready– FanDuel Sportsbook is offering another No-Sweat Same Game Parlay to new users for Thursday Night Football. Since parlays offer a significantly lower success rate than standard bets, the No-Sweat promo is a favorite among bettors. Opt in and get up to $5 in free bets back if it loses.

Given the injury uncertainty around Week 5’s matchup between the Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals, there’s been no better time to use it. How should bettors approach this matchup with Tua Tagovailoa reportedly playing but perhaps not 100%? We’ll dive into that below.

Thursday Night Football: Dolphins At Bengals Odds

FanDuel’s No-Sweat Same Game Parlay

Opt into FanDuel’s No-Sweat Same Game Parlay under the “promos” tab or NFL odds section on FD’s app or site. They offer an easy way to build SGPs right there on the page. It removes the headache of manually inputting legs just to be given the, “Sorry, you can’t parlay these sections” alert.

New users need to download the FanDuel Sportsbook app and create an account to be eligible for this promo.

If your parlay hits, you reap the rewards. If your parlay loses, FanDuel will refund your account with free bets up to $1,000. It must be a 3+ leg SGP with +400 odds or longer (IE +450 or +500 would qualify). Free bets for losing parlays will appear in your account within 72 hours. The free bet expires in seven days.

While you don’t have to be located in a legal state to create your free account or make your first deposit, you must be located in a legal sports betting state to place your SGP.

Dolphins At Bengals SGP Strategy

As with all parlays, you want to correlate your legs so that, if your first leg hits, your second leg has a greater chance of hitting, too. For example, betting conflicting legs like Bengals to cover the first half spread (-2.5) but Dolphins to win the game ML (+168) doesn’t give your parlay a high chance of hitting. Though the parlayed price is a juicy +875, there’s a reason for that– you’ll be making a donation to your local sportsbook.

However, correlated legs like the Bengals to score over 13.5 first-half points (+100) and the game total to go over 47.5 points (-114) have a positive correlation. If the Bengals are scoring early and often, chances are the Dolphins’ high-octane passing offense is following suit and the point total on the game goes over.

You can apply this logic to player props, too. Betting Joe Burrow to go over his 300-yard alternate passing yardage mark (+182) and betting the game total to go over 47.5 (-114) is a well-correlated parlay. If Burrow is successfully airing the ball out, points are going to be scored.

Just because the SGP is risk-free doesn’t mean you can’t capitalize on a well-executed parlay.

Why Parlaying This Game Is Dicey

We’ve made it to this point without talking much about Tua’s injury. On Wednesday’s injury report, he was listed as questionable after suffering a head injury last Sunday. Tua passed through concussion protocol and finished out the win over the Bills in Week 3. Tua will reportedly play, but he’s clearly not 100% on a short week.

His backup is journeyman Teddy Bridgewater. Bridgewater has proven to be able to successfully lead offenses and will likely orchestrate the Dolphins’ game plan the same as Tua. However, there’s a discrepancy in their aggressiveness. This year, Tua is attempting a career-high 9.9 yards per pass attempt whereas Bridgewater has a career YPA at just 7.3.

Granted, the receiving corps naturally boosts the YPA, but if Tua doesn’t go, there’s reasonable skepticism for totals for Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. As a result, a higher probability at the game total going under as well as Dolphins’ team totals.

Proceed with caution this week and wait to get a ruling on Tua before sending your SGPs.
