Steelers Injury Analysis

Alex Highsmith is the big name here, and there’s no mystery about his status for Week 12. The premium edge rusher will be out, continuing to mend from an ankle injury.

Aside from Highsmith, there isn’t much to note here. The Steelers still have three starting offensive linemen out on IR (Gs James Daniels and Nate Herbig, T Troy Fautanu). The unit has continued to chug along and perform at a roughly league-average level, though that will certainly be tested against a fearsome Browns front.

Browns Injury Analysis

Left tackle will be a major issue this week for Cleveland. The team tried to get Jedrick Wills back out there, but he wasn’t ready. Dawand Jones, who had been filling in, is out for the year. Swing tackle James Hudson is also on IR.

That leaves Geron Christian to start. Cleveland signed him from the Rams’ practice squad, so he’ll likely be in a mile over his head, especially if he’s facing any rushes from T.J. Watt.

Starting LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and rotation DT Michael Hall Jr. are both on IR. Steelers castoff Devin Bush is filling in for JOK.
