US Open Semifinal Predictions, Odds 2026: Two Americans in the Finals?

The 2026 US Open semifinals are here, as the exceptional Grand Slam tournament in New York City reaches its climax.

After stunning defending champion Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals, Ben Shelton has set up an all-American semifinal with Frances Tiafoe.

In the women’s tournament, home favorites Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula are bidding to reach the final.

US Open Semifinal Predictions

Aryna Sabalenka vs Jessica Pegula

Aryna Sabalenka is determined to hold on to her US Open crown, as the world No.1 has reached the last four by dropping just one set. In the semifinals, the defending champion takes on Buffalo-born Pegula.

Sabalenka is no stranger to Grand Slam semifinals, and the 28-year-old Belarusian is gunning for a third US Open triumph on the bounce. The 2-1 win against Linda Noskova in the quarterfinals was her first dropped set of the tournament.

Pegula has played terrific tennis on home ground as she aims to reach a second US Open final. Unfortunately for the New Yorker, we can see Sabalenka getting the job done. Our money is going on a straight-set win for the champion (+118, BetMGM).

Coco Gauff vs Elena Rybakina

Gauff and Elena Rybakina lock horns in a mouth-watering semifinal at Arthur Ashe Stadium today. Can the 22-year-old American see off the current world No. 2 to seal a spot in her first Grand Slam final since last year’s French Open?

Gauff burst onto the scene as a teenager when she won the US Open in 2023, and the Florida-born superstar has shone in Queens again. She is the favorite in this semifinal.

Rybakina is a two-time Grand Slam champion, but this is the furthest she has gone in New York. The 27-year-old is always a tough opponent, but we are backing Gauff to prevail at (-105).

Alexander Zverev vs Karen Khachanov

The first men’s semifinal sees Alexander Zverev and Karen Khachanov lock horns tomorrow. The German, who recently won his first-ever Slam, is looking to reach his second US Open final.

Zverev is in fine form, winning this year’s French Open before reaching the Wimbledon final. The No. 1 seed is aiming to compete in a third Grand Slam final of 2026.

This will be Khachanov’s third semifinal of his career, but the Russian has never reached a major final. After getting past injured Alexander Blockx in the last eight, can Khachanov stun Zverev in the semifinals?

The world No. 2 is the huge favorite, and he should have enough skill and experience to secure his spot in another major final. Zverev is priced at (+115) to win 3-0.

Frances Tiafoe vs Ben Shelton

All eyes will be on Friday’s all-American showdown between Tiafoe and Shelton. This semifinal clash guarantees a home finalist, but who will be competing in Sunday’s US Open final?

Tiafoe, the No. 11 seed, has had a strong tournament in New York, seeing off the likes of Daniil Medvedev and Alex Michelsen to reach his third US Open semi. However, the 28-year-old has never competed in a major final.

No. 8 seed Shelton stunned defending champion Alcaraz in the previous round, winning a final-set tie-break decider to seal his place in a third Grand Slam semifinal.

This all-American clash is hard to call and could go either way. That said, even though Shelton is the favorite, we are siding with a Tiafoe victory (+250).
