US Open Final Predictions, Odds 2026: Who Will Prevail in Queens?

After two weeks of non-stop, thrilling US Open action at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, we have reached finals weekend in New York City.

On Saturday, the top two, Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina, go head-to-head in the US Open women’s final. In the men’s edition, Alexander Zverev and Ben Shelton lock horns for the crown.

Here are our US Open final predictions and the latest tennis odds.

US Open Final Predictions

Aryna Sabalenka vs Elena Rybakina

Sabalenka and Rybakina do battle in a mouth-watering US Open women’s final at Arthur Ashe Stadium today. Sabalenka is the defending champion and looking for a third straight US Open title, but will Rybakina get her hands on a third Grand Slam trophy?

Sabalenka has been excellent in the Big Apple, dropping just one set on the way to the final. She saw off Camila Osorio, Polina Iatcenko, Kamilla Rakhimova, and Taylor Townsend in the early rounds.

In the quarterfinals, the No. 1 seed dropped her only set of the tournament in a 2-1 victory over Linda Noskova. The 28-year-old then got the better of home favorite Jessica Pegula (7-5, 6-2) to secure her spot in another major final.

Rybakina has reached her second consecutive US Open final after battling her way into the last two. After early wins against the likes of Jessica Bouzas Maneiro and Naomi Osaka, the 27-year-old has sealed back-to-back 2-1 victories over Zheng Qinwen and Coco Gauff.

These two met in the Australian Open final at the start of 2026, with Rybakina getting the better of the Belarusian to claim her second Grand Slam crown. The Russian will be desperate to repeat the feat, but Sabalenka will be out for revenge.

The reigning champ has almost been faultless in her title defence in New York. Finals are tough to predict, and most are tight and tense, but we can see Sabalenka making it three in a row by winning in straight sets. BetMGM is offering +150 for the 2-0 Sabalenka win.

Alexander Zverev vs Ben Shelton

Home hero Shelton has been the US Open’s surprise package this year, reaching the final against all odds. On Sunday, the 23-year-old from Georgia has the biggest game of his life when he takes on world No. 2 Zverev in the 2026 US Open final at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Going by BetMGM’s latest men’s final odds, the German is the clear favorite at -145. However, if you fancy the American to cause an upset, +120 are good odds.

Zverev is having an excellent season, winning the French Open before reaching the Wimbledon final. Sunday will mark the 29-year-old’s sixth major final appearance, with three of those coming in 2026.

Shelton already reached semifinals in Australia and England, but this will be the 23-year-old’s first-ever Grand Slam final. The current world No. 9 has been brilliant in New York City, wowing the Queens crowd with several top-class performances.

He reached the quarterfinals with wins against Tallon Griekspoor, Hubert Hurkacz, Denis Shapovalov, and Stefanos Tsitsipas. Having stunned defending champion Carlos Alcaraz in the last eight, Florida-born Shelton edged past compatriot Frances Tiafoe in the semifinals.

Shelton has done remarkably well to get this far, and a Grand Slam success is not too far away for the American. However, we can see the experienced Zverev claiming his second major victory of the season.

Shelton will no doubt play his part, so we are backing the 3-2 Zverev win, available at +425 with BetMGM.
