NFL bettors are divided on Tennessee Titans odds. Superstars are out and the team made moves this offseason to prepare for the future, but that isn’t stopping Tennesseans from being extremely bullish on their team. Where do bettors fall on the Titans NFL win total this coming season?
Tennessee Titans Odds: futures Markets
Titans NFL win total
NFL win totals are available to bet at legal sportsbooks for almost every team in the league.
Tennessee is lined at over wins this coming season. The Titans NFL win total is top seven in the conference and near the Colts for best in the AFC South, congruent to their odds to win Super Bowl 52 (). Tennessee is the eighth choice among AFC teams in Super Bowl futures.
After winning the AFC South in 2021, the Titans draw a first-place schedule that includes road stints to Buffalo, Kansas City, Green Bay, and the L.A. Chargers; they also handle AFC champion Cincinnati and Dallas at home. It amounts to one of the most difficult schedules this coming NFL season, which may temper public expectation.
The schedule before their bye week is a bit more forgiving, which is an important break for the offense. What will the usually-efficient passing attack look like without A.J. Brown? Newly-acquired Robert Woods is recovering from a November ACL tear, though he’s trending towards being ready for training camp. The other top receiving option is rookie Treylon Burks. Multiple reports of Burks struggling with asthma and conditioning surfaced in early June, which could hinder his snap count early in the NFL season if that continues in camp.
Workhorse Derrick Henry is also returning to play after a Lisfranc sidelined him for most of 2021. Henry saw limited action at the end of the year, but was clearly hindered by the injury.
Finally, Ryan Tannehill is coming off his worst season as a Titan (ranked 13th in EPA/play in 2021, down from second in 2019 and 2020 combined). The bottom line is, this offense could to take time to figure it out this coming season.

Titans fans on Opposite Side of National Bettors
The Titans fanbase is an optimistic one. Per data provided to TheLines by BetMGM, 72.7% of bets and 76.5% of the handle placed in the state of Tennessee are on over 9.5 wins. In each of the last six seasons, the Titans exceeded their win total.
Compare those numbers to the US as a whole: 43.8% of bets and just 15.5% of the handle is on over 9.5. These numbers suggest the vast majority of dollars wagered on the Titans NFL win total around the country are on under 9.5 wins at BetMGM.
Naturally, fanbases tend to expect more from their teams, especially when they’re outperforming expectations for years in a row. However, Titans fans have strayed very far from the national consensus for this coming season despite high turnover.
