The 2025-26 NFL season has finally come to a close, with the Seattle Seahawks winning Super LX 29-13 over the New England Patriots to give Seattle its second title. They successfully exacted revenge for Super Bowl LXIX, making up for the infamous Malcolm Butler interception.

Of course, when it comes to betting, hindsight is 20/20. Now that the biggest betting day of the year is over, let's take a look at some of the biggest winners and losers.

Biggest Winners

Kenneth Walker III MVP Bettors

Walker was the odds-on favorite for non-quarterbacks to win the MVP. Those who predicted a low-scoring game likely put money on Walker to win the MVP at a gaudy +550 (via FanDuel).

The 25-year-old had his best game of the season in the Super Bowl, running for 135 yards while also catching two passes for 27 yards. He nearly broke through for a 49-yard touchdown at the end of the game, much to the chagrin of over bettors, who would have pulled off a miracle cover.

Seattle Seahawks Futures Bettors

At 60-to-1 odds, the Seattle Seahawks were incredible longshots to win the Super Bowl. For those who believed, they cashed in huge.

One guy bet $50,000 on the Seahawks to make the playoffs at +185, $50,000 on the Seahawks to win the NFC at +2800, and $50,000 to win the Super Bowl at +6000. While he had hedged $725,000 on New England at +195, the bettor came out with nearly $4,000,000 in profit.

Under Bettors

Under bettors got to kick back and relax virtually the entire game. The total closed at 45.5 and wasn't really close until the end of the game, when things got really sweaty. Despite both teams combining for just 12 points through three quarters, the two teams combined for 30 points in the fourth quarter. If not for the aforementioned Walker touchdown getting called back, they would have suffered one of the worst betting beats of all time.

Seattle Seahawks Alt Spread Bettors

While money line bettors won with ease, the alt spread crowd was extremely loud and were taking Seahawks lines as high as they were offered. For their beliefs, they were treated with big wins. Betting up to -15.5 cashed out for anywhere from +400 to +450, depending on where you placed your bets.

Biggest Losers

Drake

The "Drake Curse" struck again, after the famous rapper, singer, and actor put down a $1,000,000 wager on the Patriots moneyline to try to win $2,950,000. Of course, the Seahawks rolled to victory, prompting the public to laugh at his expense once again.

In 2025 alone, Drake lost $1 million betting on the Toronto Maple Leafs in the playoffs, where they lost Game 7 to the eventual Stanley Cup champions, the Florida Panthers. Drake also lost an $800,000 bet on the NBA Finals and had bet on Jannik Sinner to win the US Open.

Drake famously went through a seven-bet losing streak in 2022, which cost him close to $4,000,000. However, despite the supposed curse, he is reportedly a long-term winner, winning nearly $1,700,000 in publicized wagers.

Quarterbacks for MVP Bettors

As is true in nearly every Super Bowl, the two quarterbacks, Sam Darnold and Drake Maye, were the odds-on favorites to win Super Bowl MVP. Despite both barely getting plus-money, a low-scoring, defensive game ensued, and Kenneth Walker III took home the award.

Jason Myers MVP Bettors

Depending on where you placed a bet, Seattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers was getting anywhere from +10000 to +20000 to win Super Bowl MVP.

The score was 12-0 entering the fourth quarter, with Myers the only player to score any points. Even late in the fourth, after Myers had kicked a Super Bowl record five field goals, it looked like he was a toss-up to win the MVP award against Kenneth Walker III and Derick Hall, who had two sacks and a forced fumble.

However, a few stat-padding runs from Walker denied Myers the historic opportunity to become the first kicker to win MVP.

Scorigami Bettors

Thanks to Jason Myers' five field goals, the Seattle Seahawks were putting a lot of funky numbers on the scoreboard. Unfortunately, there was no Scorigami (+2200 to +2500), the term used to describe an NFL scoreline that has never occurred in NFL history. If New England had made their late two-point conversion and Myers had kicked a field goal, a Scorigami would have cashed with a 32-15 final score.

Las Vegas Sportsbooks

The Seattle Seahawks were Las Vegas' third-largest liability this season, behind only the Pittsburgh Steelers and the San Francisco 49ers. While the house always wins, they won much less than usual.
