Super Bowl Kicker Props To Consider
Total Kicking Points
Harrison Butker: O/U /
This line is inflated if you think the over on PATs made is going to hit. Conditional on three PATs being made, to go over the number, you’d have to think KC scores at least 5 times in this game, which is possible but unlikely against the Eagles defense.
That said, if Patrick Mahomes is in better physical shape than he was against the Bengals, he is still unlikely to be 100% mobile, which limits the offensive upside of KC. If that’s the case, they could have more drives stall in field goal range, hurting the over on PATs but helping this line.
Jake Elliott: O/U /
Here, the line is too high just because Philadelphia doesn’t kick that many field goals. Philadelphia averaged just 1.4 attempts per game in the regular season, and Sirianni is one of the most aggressive in-game coaches in the league. The existence of a running quarterback means that in most 4th-and-short or 4th-and-medium situations, he will let the offense stay on the field depriving Elliott of opportunities to kick FGs.
Harrison Butker vs. Jake Elliott Most FGs
This is, essentially, a competition to see which kicker will get more field goal attempts, which does lean to Kansas City. In the regular season, they kicked 1.9 FGs per game on average; whereas, Philadelphia only kicked 1.4 per game. Even if you want to say that the playoffs are a different beast, even in last week’s Conference Championship weekend, Andy Reid chose the most conservative option at the highest leverage 4th down in the game, punting from inside Cincy’s 40.
With that in mind, Butker -120 (or Butker -0.5 +140) for most kicker FGs made is clearly a bet. Nick Sirriani is more aggressive than Reid in big spots, especially with him going for the 4th down on the opening drive against the Niners.
PATs Made
Jake Elliott: O/U /
This line is absurd. Elliott is -115 to hit over 2.5 PATs, which is not in and of itself crazy. But consider that Philadelphia is -200 to score Over 2.5 touchdowns. Yes, the Eagles are aggressive when it comes to 4th Down and two-point conversions this season, but the idea that a -200 bet on Over 2.5 touchdowns should correlate to a -115 Over on 2.5 PATs is stretching credulity, and I’ve bet the Over accordingly.
Harrison Butker: O/U /
If the Chiefs do kick more field goals in this game, there is a chance that the Chiefs end up in a situation where they are either down eight and needing a Touchdown and a 2PC to tie the game, or are down one, score a Touchdown, and then try a 2 point to go up 7. With the gap between the Over 2.5 TDs and the Over 2.5 PATs only 40 cents of vig and not 85 cents, this isn’t as egregiously priced. The other problem with it is whether or not the Chiefs can score 3 or more TDs with a likely still not 100% Mahomes against the Eagles secondary and defensive line.
Field Goals Made
Jake Elliott: O/U /
Under 1.5 Field Goals is a sensible bet in the same vain as his Under 7.5 total points (although, that has slightly more outs). The Eagles are not a team that kicks many FGs, they are aggressive in fourth down situations, and love using Hurts as an option QB in those situations.
Harrison Butker: O/U /
This again only makes sense in combination with Butker Under 2.5 PATs, because the Chiefs offense is not likely prolific enough to score a minimum of 5 times against a good Eagles defense. The Chiefs average 1.9 attempts a game, which makes this a good bet, but if the Eagles score early, the Chiefs may have to get more aggressive, potentially.

Kick To Hit The Crossbar/Upright
This fun, novelty bet is unlikely to come true – doinks are rather rare in football, but if you’re a karmic Eagles fan, potentially a small bet to revive the karma of the Bears playoff win on the Double Doink may be in order.
