Eagles Super Bowl 57 Lookahead Lines
FanDuel posted lines for all four potential outcomes before Championship weekend. For the Eagles vs. Chiefs, the Eagles were +1 underdogs before both teams advanced.
After commanding a 21-7 halftime lead over the 49ers, the Eagles moved from +230 to -115 odds-on favorites to win the Super Bowl.
Opening lines give us a good idea of what to expect and a reference point closer to kickoff. Given that Philadelphia beat a 49ers team without a quarterback (both Brock Purdy and Josh Johnson suffered injuries), their power rating likely doesn’t change much.
The Eagles defense will likely have to face a healthier Patrick Mahomes than the Bengals did in the AFC title game, after he played through a high ankle sprain. KC will now have two more weeks to get Mahomes healthier, as well as star tight end Travis Kelce, who popped up on the injury report with a back issue late in the practice week.
