Bills Injury Analysis

Buffalo was already dealing with a couple of critical injuries on its defense. Matt Milano was lost for the season before it even started, and standout nickel Taron Johnson remains out with a forearm injury.

Add LB Terrel Bernard to the list. The starter strained his pec, leaving the back seven of this defense dreadfully thin. They’re now missing three of their starters, to say nothing of the fact they began the year with significant turnover after losing two stalwart starting safeties.

The Ravens may find themselves feasting over the middle of the field come Sunday.

Ravens Injury Analysis

Baltimore enters this one much healthier than the Bills. Their only area of any concern is along the offensive line.

G Andrew Voorhees has yet to practice, meaning the starter is an underdog to suit up this weekend. He’d likely be backed up by Ben Cleveland, listed as the backup on the other side of the line (Voorhees’ own backup is also listed as out). Cleveland isn’t a great player, but he does have experience.

Of greater concern would be a possible absence of C Tyler Linderbaum. One of the better centers in the league, Linderbaum did return to log a limited practice on Thursday, so looks on track to play. He’ll be needed considering how thin the team looks at guard.

Monitor Linderbaum’s status on Sunday.
