Apr. 7: Closed a 60-1 longshot in the Kentucky Derby futures pool 6, but expect that number to change after a victory in the Santa Anita Derby.
Apr. 7: Jumped out to a lead in the first furlong, but settled in behind the pace setter in the Santa Anita Derby. Went off as at 2-1, made a move off the rail to the outside and raced step for step with Even favorite Imagination. Nudged him out in a near-photo finish for the win.
Dec. 16: Posted a 99 Beyer Speed Figure in a runner-up effort at the Los Alamitos Futurity. He would go on to win next two races.
