Qatar Hoping to Pull Out a Victory
Qatar qualified for the World Cup back in October so they haven’t been involved in many matches this year. The Al-Annabi makes their second consecutive World Cup and their second overall after being the host country in 2022. Al-Annabi seeks their first win in World Cup play as they have a record of no wins, one draw and four losses to their credit. They drew Switzerland 1-1 before getting drubbed by Canada in group play. Qatar is ranked 56th in the most recent edition of the FIFA rankings.
Against Canada, Qatar was overmatched and obliterated as they took a sound beating from pillar to post. The Al-Annabi lost the possession battle by a near four-to-one margin in the match. In addition, they lost the shot battle by a 10-0 margin in the contest. Qatar gave up the match’s first goal at the 16-minute mark and never got back in the match after that. By halftime, the margin was 3-0 and the Al-Annabi were down to 10 men as Homam Ahmed earned a red card in the 33rd minute. In the second half, Qatar saw Canada pour it on. The Al-Annabi gave up three more goals, one of which was an own goal, and lost another player to a red card. That left them with just nine men for the final 35-plus minutes as Assim Madibo earned a red card in the 53rd minute.
Mahmoud Ibrahim Abunada expects to make his third appearance in World Cup play in goal for Qatar here. He made two appearances in World Cup qualifying, posting a record of one win, one draw and no losses. Abunada had one clean sheet to his credit in those matches.

Bosnia-Herzegovina Trying to Find a Way to Knockout Stage
Bosnia-Herzegovina needed a little bit of luck to qualify for the World Cup. The Dragons went to penalties against both Wales and Italy before prevailing in qualifying. Their 4-1 win on penalties sent Bosnia-Herzegovina into the field while leaving the Italians on the outside looking in. As a result, Bosnia-Herzegovina qualified for the World Cup for just the second time and the first since 2014. They battled to a draw with Canada in their group opener before falling to Switzerland. The Dragons own an all-time record of one win, one draw and three losses in World Cup play. Bosnia-Herzegovina is 64th in the most recent FIFA world rankings.
Against Switzerland, the match was a defensive struggle for three-quarters of the match. Unfortunately for the Dragons, they saw Switzerland erupt late, sending them to defeat. Bosnia-Herzegovina lost possession by a three-to-two margin in the match. In addition, the Dragons lost the shots on goal battle by a 7-3 margin. The teams played a mainly defensive struggle in the first half and the sides went to halftime scoreless. In the second half, a pair of yellow cards slowed the Dragons and, after substitutions, they allowed the opening goal in the 74th minute. Tarik Muharemovic left Bosnia-Herzegovina down a man after earning a red card in the 80th minute. They gave up two goals in quick succession to trail 3-0 before getting on the board. Ermin Mahmic, who just entered the match, scored in the third minute of stoppage time for his first international goal.
That proved to be as close as the Dragons got as they surrendered a goal on a penalty kick in the final minute of stoppage time. Nikola Vasilj projects between the sticks again here for his third career World Cup appearance.
10 x $100 bet match in FanCash Qatar vs. Bosnia-Herzegovina Prediction
There is plenty at stake for both sides here as a win would give one side four points and at least a shot at advancing to the knockout stages. A draw does neither side any good as two points won’t get it done. Qatar is shorthanded with both Ahmed and Madibo are out after their red cards. That means a shuffling of their back line and midfield. The Dragons should take advantage with Edin Dzeko and Ermedin Demerovic. Bosnia and Herzegovina have the experience advantage and the size edge, even with Muharemovic out for his red card. In the end, the Dragons are too much to handle and that carries them to a win here.
