It has been a memorable 2026 MLS season, but we have one more round to go before the focus turns to the lottery of the playoffs.
We pick out today’s MLS best bets and soccer picks from the BetMGM sportsbook.

Orlando City SC and New England Revolution square off at Inter.co Stadium today. The Revs can still finish second in the Eastern Conference, so Marko Mitrovic’s boys will be looking for maximum points in Florida.
Orlando have secured a playoff place, sitting four points above New York Red Bulls with one game to play. A top-nine spot in assured, but they can still leapfrog Columbus Crew in eighth.
New England’s hopes of taking second place were dealt a big blow last weekend, losing 2-1 to Inter Miami CF on home turf. The loss ended a run of four straight wins. Orlando were also beaten, crashing to a 4-0 defeat at Charlotte FC.
The Revs are in excellent form, and Mitrovic’s side are looking to get back to winning ways after losing to Miami last weekend. BetMGM is offering +210 for the away win.
Best Bet: New England Revolution to Win (+210, BetMGM)
Charlotte to Grab Point in Miami?
Inter Miami welcome Charlotte to Nu Stadium on the final day of the regular MLS season. A win for the home team will guarantee a second-place finish.
Miami took a giant leap towards claiming second position with last weekend’s hard-fought 2-1 victory in New England. After going a goal down, German Berterame leveled before the imperious Lionel Messi struck the winner seven minutes from time.
Inter leapfrogged New England into second with last weekend’s win. They have had a good season, collecting 59 points and being one of the strongest teams in the league. Can last year’s MLS Cup winners retain their crown?
Charlotte have also booked their place in the playoffs. The club from North Carolina can still finish as high as fourth in the Eastern Conference. In fact, they will finish just three points behind Miami with a win at Nu Stadium.
Charlotte head to Florida having claimed back-to-back 4-0 home wins, and Dean Smith’s boys are good enough to leave with a point. The draw and both teams to score is nicely priced at +450.
Best Bet: Draw & Both Teams to Score (+450, BetMGM)
Whitecaps to Win All-Canadian Clash
We have a Canadian derby to look forward to on the last day as CF Montreal welcome Vancouver Whitecaps FC to Saputo Stadium. The pair have had contrasting seasons, but who will come out on top in Quebec?
Impact will finish bottom of the Eastern Conference. It has been a dreadful season, with Montreal winning just six MLS games and suffering 19 defeats. Only Sporting Kansas City have a poorer MLS record.
In contrast, Vancouver have had another sensational season. They are six points clear of Dallas at the top, already getting their hands on the Western Conference Championship trophy. The Caps have collected 61 points after 18 wins, seven draws, and eight losses.
Vancouver have won three of the last four and will be eyeing up all three points at their rivals’ home tonight. Check out +290 for the away team to win both halves.
Best Bet: Vancouver Whitecaps FC to Win Both Halves (+290, BetMGM)
Dallas Back to Winning Ways
FC Dallas and Colorado Rapids meet in a big fixture in the Western Conference. The home team are eyeing up a second-place finish in the West, while the visitors are one of several sides looking to nail down a postseason spot.
Dallas have enjoyed a fine MLS season, collecting 55 points. They gave up the top spot in the West to Vancouver Whitecaps, but the Texas team will finish second with just a point on the final day.
Colorado are clinging on to the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. However, Seattle Sounders are level on points, while Real Salt Lake and Minnesota United can still finish above them. Last time out, Matt Wells’ men suffered a damaging 4-2 home loss to Chicago Fire FC.
Unfortunately for the Rapids, our money is going on the hosts. There is good value in BetMGM’s +210 for Dallas to be winning at halftime and fulltime.
Best Bet: FC Dallas Halftime/Fulltime (+210, BetMGM)
Timbers to Do the Business
Another huge game on the final weekend is the Austin FC vs. Portland Timbers matchup at Q2 Stadium. The visitors need a win to guarantee a playoff spot.
Austin’s season is over, with the Texas club sitting 14th in the West on just 34 points. Even though they will avoid the dreaded “Wooden Spoon”, the rebuild for the 2027 season will already be underway.
The race for the playoffs in the Western Conference is fascinating, as only three points separate seventh-place LA Galaxy from 11th-place Minnesota. Incredibly, six teams, including Portland, can still make the postseason.
The Timbers are sitting nervously in seventh, but destiny is in their own hands, as a win in Austin today will secure a playoff place. Portland have won three in a row and will back themselves to do the business at Q2 Stadium.
Austin have lost five of six and have picked up just one victory since mid-September. Portland should win with ease, and we like the look of +160 for the away team to win -2.
Best Bet: Portland Timbers to Win -1 (+160, BetMGM)
