Though Mac Jones has done exceptionally well moving the ball down the field, he's faced bottom-half NFL defenses in three of his four starts this year, with the ninth-ranked Rams being his toughest test to date.

The 49ers, who rank 15th in total defense and 14th in rushing defense, have failed to stop similar dual-threat running backs this season, most recently letting Kyren Williams go off for 131 total yards and two touchdowns.
