Shedeur Sanders NFL Draft Round 2 Odds: Browns Favored To Select QB?

One of the betting storylines of the 2025 NFL Draft will continue into the second round, with Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders going undrafted on Thursday night. Unsurprisingly, the Browns are favored to draft Sanders in two separate markets, but is he a “lock” to head to Cleveland? Let’s break down the NFL draft odds for Shedeur Sanders at FanDuel Sportsbook and DraftKings Sportsbook.

Will Browns Draft Shedeur Sanders?
A few of the top-10 players listed as possible candidates for Cleveland’s No. 33 overall pick (Sanders, Jalen Milroe, and Tyler Shough) are signal-callers. It’s a prominent position of need for the Browns as they attempt to move on from the oft-maligned Deshaun Watson. Per the first NFL draft odds board above, Sanders is a -170 favorite (63.0% implied probability) for this selection.
Considering Cleveland also owns pick No. 36, Sanders is a rightful -350 favorite (77.8% implied probability) to hear his name called by the Browns at any point on Friday evening. They acquired this draft stock when they traded out of the second overall pick, nabbing Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham three spots later.
After Sanders’ first-round draft position prop opened at 3.5, it shifted to 21.5 by Thursday. Oddsmakers revolved the latter around the AFC North rival Steelers, which held pick No. 21. Pittsburgh avoided taking Sanders or Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart, instead snagging Oregon nose tackle Derrick Harmon.
Sanders notched 4,134 passing yards and a 37:10 touchdown-to-interception ratio during his senior season at Colorado. He finished his college career as the second quarterback to compile more than 14,000 yards on a completion percentage of 70 percent or higher.
The Colorado product is also the first player in NFL draft history to have his collegiate jersey retired yet fail to hear his name called in the first round.
Shedeur Sanders Odds: Bet On Raiders Or Saints?
Beyond Cleveland, Las Vegas (+350) remains a potential landing spot at No. 37 overall. Raiders minority owner Tom Brady was a mentor for Sanders, dating back to his high school career. The Saints (+600) may represent the floor at pick No. 40 if he doesn’t land in Sin City.
Neither team would surprise me, as both are QB-needy. In the early stages of NFL draft rumors, the Raiders’ first-round pick was initially connected to Sanders. However, they opted for Boise State tailback Ashton Jeanty with the sixth overall selection.
Although Pete Carroll and veteran signal-caller Geno Smith are reunited in Las Vegas, Sanders sitting on the bench for a year or two may provide enough time for the passer to get acclimated to the NFL level.
Meanwhile, Derek Carr’s banged-up shoulder casts a shadow over the Saints’ QB room. Spencer Rattler generated inadequate results in limited playing time last season, so first-year coach Kellen Moore may opt to draft another young arm.
