Second-chance survivor pools may be just what the doctor ordered. Every year, plenty of second-chance survivor games pop up to keep the fun going for the tens of thousands who meet an early demise.

We’ll go over a few of the options here, including a free $5,000 second-chance survivor pool from TheLines and FanDuel Sportsbook.

Free $5,000 Second Chance Survivor From PlayTheLines And FanDuel

Playing for a $5,000 cash prize is a pretty great opportunity if survivor was unkind to you early in the 2024 season. Along with FanDuel Sportsbook, TheLines is offering a free second-chance survivor beginning in Week 4. So, you can’t start playing just yet, but bookmark this one and make a mental note to return prior to Week 4.

The rules will be the same as the normal survivor pool. You need to pick winning teams (not ties) and can only pick each team once. Since the contest starts several weeks in, the strategies will change a bit, so be sure to adjust.

Contestants at least 21 years old in the U.S. and Canada (except Quebec and Washington, D.C.) can participate.

DraftKings ‘Next Chance’ Series Features $100K Prize Pool In Week 3

DraftKings Sportsbook runs “Next Chance” survivors each week during the early part of the season.

For Week 3, DK has rolled out the $100K+ Main Event NFL 3rd Chance Survivor Pool. This has a $100 buy-in with $100K in guarantees. Users may enter up to 100 times.

Already, 331 entries have been registered. This one should get quite large and may represent the chance for the biggest payout among second chance survivor pools.

Keep an eye out on the DK “Pools” tab for more second chance survivors next week. Prior to Week 4 may represent the last time big prize pools are offered.

Splash Sports Second Chance Survivors

Splash Sports is a contest-hosting platform that includes survivors, as well as things like golf “one-and-done.” They are already posting second chance survivor contests, including one with a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The Splash NFL $50K Survivor Revival has a $50 buy-in and will accept just over 1,000 entries, so expect it to fill up. Signing up sooner rather than later is advised if you’d like to participate. It kicks off here in Week 3. There’s also a higher stakes $500 one with a $25K guarantee.

Those looking to play slightly smaller can check out the Splash x RotoGrinders Survivor Revival with $10K in guarantees and a $20 buy-in.

These contests are worth a look if you’re interested in second chance survivor, but be aware they have entry fees and also take a rake out of the prize pool.
