*Odds updates as of start of the NFC Championship Game

To nobody’s surprise (at least after the win), quarterbacks Joe Burrow and Matthew Stafford are the favorite to win Super Bowl MVP, but the Super Bowl spread will likely favor the NFC champs, after Cincinnati was a small underdog in look-ahead lines.

As for the question of who oddsmakers would open as the second-most likely LA player to win Super Bowl MVP, the answer is Stafford’s incredible wide receiver. Cooper Kupp led all receivers this season in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns. Among non-QBs, he will be a popular bet.

Rams Path To Super Bowl LVI

The Rams were 20-1 in opening Super Bowl odds last February, but that number quickly dropped when the team traded the Lions for QB Matthew Stafford.

Throughout the season, the Rams were a frequent member among the top-five teams on the odds board.

Now, they are field goal favorites to win the Super Bowl in their home stadium, perhaps the second straight year the NFL champs will win it on their home field after 54 years of that never happening.
