Nuggets-Pelicans Same Game Parlay Options

If their previous matchup was any indication of what’s to come, then we could be in for another high-scoring contest. Although both teams have struggled to put wins on the board early in the season, the Nuggets and the Pelicans have always shown they can put points in a hurry which is why we are liking the over 239.5 points here. For context, the over hit in their three previous matchups and six of their last seven.

Moreover, we are also liking crafty combo guard Jamal Murray to continue his scoring assault here. The 29-year old Murray exploded for 42 points when these last two teams faced each other, and he should be in a good position to keep that momentum going against a Pelicans defense that has struggled to contain opposing scorers.

One thing we like about Murray is how effectively he operates in the Nuggets’ two-man game with Nikola Jokic, using screens and defensive switches to create favorable matchups and high-percentage scoring opportunities. If the Nuggets can keep putting pressure on the Pelicans’ in the half court, especially through Jokic’s playmaking and Murray’s ability to create his own shot off the dribble, then we could see the Nuggets walk away with another win here.

• Jamal Murray to record over 29.5 points
• Over 239.5 points
• Nuggets -5.5
