Webull Review 2026: Is It Legit?

Written By John Carlo Villaruel , Sports Expert for TheLines.com | Fact Checked by: Caleb Tallman

You can get the benefit of the hours of research we’ve put into this Webull review, assessing their prediction markets coverage of event contracts in the sporting arena and beyond, including crypto and economics predictions.

We’ve visited their help center, noted how to make deposits and withdrawals, and looked at the platform and app availability for Android and iOS users. You can’t pick up a welcome bonus for the Webull prediction markets service, but you’ll be able to sign up if you’re aged 18 or over and located anywhere in the US.

Webull: Pros & Cons
Webull: Pros & Cons
  • Trade in assorted prediction markets
  • Covers sports and crypto
  • Several mobile apps available
  • Complex for beginners

Here’s what we know about Webull bonus possibilities

We did not find a welcome bonus for the prediction markets aspect of the Webull service. However, we have reviewed many similar services, with our Coinbase review among them, and have noted a similar stance there as well. It seems more common to sign up for a prediction markets service with no relevant bonus than it is to find one.

However, we have noted a general welcome bonus for Webull that may be suitable if you want to use some of their other services as well. Webull currently offers $20 in fractional shares and one month’s free Premium account access for new members opening a qualifying account with at least $500. We found limited availability for this date-wise, so we would recommend reviewing the information on our banners before proceeding.

You can read our Webull bonus guide for further details about that offer and coverage of a couple of other current promotions we noted on the Webull website.

Webull prediction markets and what to expect

If you’re new to prediction markets, we’ll provide a brief explanation of them here as we introduce you to the Webull service. Bear in mind that every event contract will provide a winner and a loser. Participants will back either yes or no, with the percentage for each indicating the market’s belief that either outcome could occur.

Trading event contracts

You’ll find a selection of event contracts all based on yes-no outcomes. For example, you might see a matchup between two baseball teams and think one team has a higher chance of winning than the other. If 40% of the money in the market agrees with you, it would mean the event contract would be priced at 40 cents. You then purchase as many event contracts as you want if you believe that outcome will happen.

If you’re right, you receive $1 per event contract you purchased. If you’re wrong, you don’t receive anything - you lose the amount you bought the event contracts for. On balance, Webull offers plenty of event contract coverage, ranking well when compared to our Sleeper Markets review here too.

Available prediction markets

You can access all the prediction markets on the relevant Webull app for Android or Apple devices. More on those in a moment. We did find coverage of several key prediction markets provided by Webull:

To give you some examples, we found a stream of predictions based on hourly crypto values. For example, you may wish to purchase an event contract based on whether you think the BTC price will go above a certain value at a certain hour.

We also found a variety of Fed-themed event contracts. These cover upcoming Federal Reserve meetings, potential rate cuts, and similar economic outcomes. Webull also provides ample sports coverage for those looking to predict the likely outcome of a match or tournament. We found soccer, tennis, and baseball among the sports covered in this area.

We liked seeing individual logos relevant to the sport in question - it made it easier to see our favorites at a glance. We also found clear percentage outcomes that adjusted according to price fluctuations in the market. It’s not always about matches either - you can predict whether a coach will leave a team, what the outcome of playoffs might be, and so on.

As for politics, you’ll find event contracts for both domestic and foreign political events. They don’t merely cover elections either. Meanwhile, climate-themed prediction markets cover everything from predicted temperature ranges to whether or not there might be a natural disaster like a hurricane or tornado.

User-friendly format

Webull provides some color coding to help you identify key information. They also use a larger typeface for player or team names in the sports prediction markets, for example. Look out for baseballs or tennis racquets to highlight the relevant sports.

We noticed that even when we downloaded the app and signed in for the first time, we could intuitively find what we were looking for at Webull. You can locate your preferred prediction market topics and check the available event contracts in seconds. That’s ideal when you’re looking at live updates for a live match, for instance.

App availability and access

You need only briefly look at the bottom of the Webull website to see a range of logos covering all the available platforms you can access their services from:

Basically, whatever you prefer to use, there’s an app for that. When reading through the help section, however (we’ll come to that in a bit), we did note that you can only access limited event contracts on desktop. You’ll need the Android or iOS app to access the full suite of event contracts with Webull.

Our verdict on Webull event contracts

They provide plenty of coverage of various prediction markets that perform well when compared to our DraftKings Predict review here. While we liked the appeal of the desktop apps and platforms, we found it easier to trade event contracts on our smartphone, since we had access to all available prediction markets there.

Is Webull legit?

Yes. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) regulates prediction market services at a Federal level, including services offered by Webull. Upon inspecting the Webull website, we found detailed information about their services, offered by Webull Financial LLC. They’re members of six different bodies, including NASDAQ and FINRA.

Webull is also clear that such services involve risk. We found plenty of small print at the bottom of their website - similar to what we found when writing the Moomoo review - clarifying the financial services and prediction markets operations there. Webull covers its responsibilities in detail, reassuring everyone who may visit to use their prediction markets or other services.

Rating the Webull customer service efforts

In brief, Webull is nothing short of impressive in this area. We accessed their menu, found the resources section, and selected ‘help’ to reach their help center. It’s big and should resolve most of the queries you might have about Webull prediction markets - and indeed, any other subjects you might want to know more about.

Browse key topic areas

We found a separate area on each financial service offered by Webull. While they do not have a specific section covering prediction markets, we easily found a subsection under the trading and investing topic.

You’ll also find separate help sections covering the following areas:

We mentioned the intuitiveness of the Webull website earlier in our Webull review - it’s on show again here, too.

Use the search bar to find specific information

As usual, we found this worked best when entering one or two words rather than asking a question. You’ll be presented with a series of results, and during our testing, we found that Webull did provide us with relevant results in most cases.

Contacting the Webull team

The Webull website has a large menu to browse at the bottom of the site. That’s where we found contact information to use if we needed to. They’re on various social media platforms, including Facebook, X, and Instagram, so you may wish to follow them for updates on prediction market availability.

They also provide a phone number and an email address if you require further support not provided in the help center.

Payment information for Webull

The help center provides lots of advice on making deposits and withdrawals at Webull. You can link your bank account or debit card to your Webull account if you wish; they provide instructions on how you can do this.

Depositing funds

You can do so by debit card, ACH, or wire transfer. There’s no minimum for debit card deposits. We did note a nominal minimum deposit amount of $1 if you set up a recurring deposit instruction.

Withdrawing funds

Your options here include debit card, ACH, or wire transfer if you successfully conclude an event contract by predicting the right outcome. Some withdrawals can take anywhere from one to 10 business days depending on the method chosen.

However, you can often receive a debit card withdrawal immediately or within around 30 minutes of requesting it. Note that there is a fee for using debit cards in this respect; Webull confirms this as 1.75% of the withdrawn amount at present.

Prediction markets available via Webull across all platforms

We were pleased to see we could visit Webull on a computer or mobile device as desired. You do need to download either the iOS or Android app for full prediction market coverage though, with sports, culture, and crypto all present there.

You can visit Webull by using any of the links we’ve given you, to see what you make of their event contracts, topic coverage, and site usage. We found that it covers all the basis you’d expect from a solid predictions trading platform.
