We’re back and looking at the best prediction markets news today on Kalshi! In this series, we won’t necessarily stick to just sports. We’ll look at all the markets trending for trades on Kalshi and put a little context behind each one. Let’s dive into the action for July 25.

Prediction Markets News Today for July 25

OK, OK. We have to talk sports in this article. The biggest sports news in quite some time dropped on Friday: LeBron James announced that he’s joining the Philadelphia 76ers as his next team. That decision capped off one of the wildest prediction markets we’ve seen.

The “LeBron James’ Next Team” market on Kalshi has seen significant volume since it opened, with well over $230 million in trading, which is an unbelievable number. It’s been an absolute roller coaster to watch.

Not that long ago, on June 30, the 76ers were still listed at around a 1% chance to land James. There were a few traders with conviction who were willing to buy Philly at that price, and they were rewarded in a huge way. From there, it turned into a tug-of-war between Miami and Cleveland, with odds swinging back and forth as rumors flew.

Even as late as this past Thursday, the Miami Heat were still sitting near a mid‑40s chance to land LeBron. There was so much smoke and so many reports pointing to South Beach. At the end of the day, the noise was deafening, but a handful of traders navigated it and made serious money.

This market was a reminder that long shots can absolutely hit on Kalshi, and it was a fun one to analyze from start to finish. LeBron will be trending for at least the next week or so as everyone breaks down how he fits alongside Joel Embiid and the rest of the 76ers’ core.

Kalshi Entertainment: Netflix’s Top U.S. Movie This Week

Now, for some film talk. On the movie charts, the “Top U.S. Netflix movie this week?” market is a fun one, and right now there are two main players battling for the top spot.

On one side is A Toxic Love Story, a buzzy romance that’s catching a lot of attention. On the other is 72 Hours, which is produced by Kevin Hart, who also appears in the film. IMDb isn’t exactly in love with it, slapping it with a 5.5 out of 10, but it’s still very much in the conversation.

Here’s how the market is trading:

There’s a buffet of other options on the board, but most of them are lingering below a 1% chance right now. This market will resolve on July 28, once Netflix’s weekly charts lock in, so traders still have some time to decide whether the romance holds its lead or the Hart‑backed thriller can make a late surge.

That’s a wrap on today’s top prediction markets. Good luck, and happy trading!
